Review: In the search for an investment property, we found a well kept single family home in Metairie. During the inspection of the home, Michael V[redacted] - the selling agent, was present. My wife and I asked Michael several questions. One of the questions was about the repairs and Michael committed to us that the repairs would be completed that were noted in the inspection report. Once we submitted our inspection report, the seller came back with a $250 offer and were not willing to make the repairs that were committed to. Michael made the commitment that the seller would make the repairs. Eventually the repairs were made after some back and forth.

We also asked him about the window treatments. His response was that the seller was taking the curtains and the room blackout curtains since the wife worked and night but all blinds and decorative curtain rods were to stay. At this point Michael entered into another commitment. After the closing I went to the house to find that all the decorative curtain rods were removed from the house. Even the shower curtain rods were removed.

I made several attempts to rectify this situation with Michael to which he has stopped responding. I told him if I did not get a response that I would be filing this complaint to which I have receive not response. The last response from Michael was that he was checking with his clients to which no response has come in weeks after several follow-ups.Desired Settlement: Michael entered his clients into a verbal contract/commitment that was not followed through on. I would expect he/his company to cover the cost of replacing the decorative curtain rods for each window in the house. There are a total of 10 windows. The average cost of new decorative curtain rods is $75-$100 per window.
