You are once again proving your dishonesty. The photos you attached are when you did the hydroseed in the first week of July, against both my husband’s and my request to have it done in September because the summer is the worst season (as every landscaper I interviewed told me, and anyone who has a clue knows) to plant grass, and because my husband was thinking of installing an irrigation system. You did it anyhow and I struggled and spent a lot of money watering the yard but the grass barely took off (my water bill shows usage triple what it was the prior summer). When you returned weeks after the service to drop off the invoice you saw (as you’ll see in the attached photos) that the yard came out horribly. No portion of the backyard was level, the young trees in the garden were not moved, the loam was poor quality, and the grass barely grew. Because of that, you agreed to let my husband even up some of the yard with your bobcat ourselves (which you lied and later refused it) and you would come back when we were ready to redo the hydro seed. I feel taken advantage of. You yes'd me to get my money, said you could do what I wanted to accomplish in my budget and then tried to overcharge me for work that wasn’t ever accomplished. You decided to charge me $120 an hour for the work vs. $100 for your initial service when removing the arborvitae trees, unbeknownst to me. Invoice #2 clearly states that you would return in September to do the hydroseeding and that I already paid for the service. As it shows, I paid $750 for the hydroseeding. I have also included copies of our text conversations where I asked if the hydro seed could be put off for this spring and you agreeing. And after a phone conversation where you were argumentative I asked to receive a refund instead of your service. In plain text you responded, “ok, but no money back thanks”. This is dirty, unfair business. Please make it right. Refund my money. I’ve paid you in total $5,400 for a yard that looks worse than before your services. I just want the $750 refund for the service you are obligated to and have not performed.
Regards,
