Poor customer service when it comes to servicing your vehicle at the location This location never sticks to the "scheduled appointment" or follows through with any of the phone calls it is supposed to make with their customers You will have to follow up with your own vehicle and make sure that the repairs are being done correctlyThey will not repair everything you want and will only do a "visual check" for any in depth issues with your carIf you are looking to get a car serviced, pay the extra and take it somewhere that cares about its customers and the service that they provide This place only cares about your money and how they can keep "repairing" your vehicle enough to have you keep coming back

I purchased a used vehicle from Abeloff Nissan in April of I was constantly told that the car was in great conditionTwo days after buying it, I took the car to a reputable body shop in my areaI was shown that the car was in a wreck, with plenty of proofI called Abeloff back and told them about this situation, and they denied knowing about this and told me to drive the car to them (hours away) so they could take a lookAfter a long drive, their body shop manager and finance manager both came outThey told me the shattered glass under the trunk mat could've been from anything, that is common for the trunk to close inpropery and that it would just need to be adjusted, and the reason for the paint mismatch could be from a bad factory paint jobThey printed the CarFax again and showed me, continuing to tell me that the car was not in any accidentsThen, a few months go by and I find that on AutoCheck, there was a reported accidentSo, I called them back and had my calls ignored and did not hear backI am willing to do whatever it takes to be compensated for auto-dealer fraud, and will get word out there to those looking for new/used cars, to go to a reputable dealership and not deal with frauds

Thank you for forwarding *** ***'s concern.
As a matter of policy we do not accept responsibility for items left in vehicles. However, as a gesture of good will we have replaced *** ***'s GPS. It is our understanding that this matter has been resolved to his
satisfaction

Terrible, I've never been so blatantly lied to and sat through such poor service. Shame on me for allowing it as long as it did, how 15 to 20 minutes turns into 1-2 hours of waiting to get my interest rate back is a joke and this place should find better workers then Jeff and Mary

Review: We purchased a used car for my daughter with no warranty. We asked if we could take it to our mechanic to look it over and the salesmen told us that we could possibly drive it over to our mechanic and bring it back the next day. He checked with the Sales Manager and he said that we couldn't take the car over but we could have the mechanic go there. I told him that I really didn't want to have to ask my mechanic to drive over there. They told us that their mechanics will look it over and clean it up for us and the Sales Manager, [redacted] even came over and assured us that this was a safe car and that they live up to a good reputation. We were also told that the oil was changed recently and that it was ready to go. So we bought the car "as is".

Three weeks later was the soonest we could get it in to our mechanic to look over. He called me and said that she needed a new oil pan because it was all rotted out and oil was all over the bottom of the car. We had to get it fixed right away because if we waited we could blow the engine. If the car was looked over and the oil was changed, why wasn't the oil pan spotted??? Why weren't we told about this!!!???

My daughter had plans to go down the shore for vacation with my in-laws but had to put those plans off because the car could not get fixed until the parts came in so from Thursday, 7/10 until the following Tuesday, 7/15. The total cost of the repair for the oil pan was $394.85. I contacted the salesman, [redacted] and he said that he had to talk to the Sales Manager, [redacted]. He never contacted me back so I contacted him and he said he did not get an answer. I emailed the Sales Manager,[redacted] who had emailed me earlier thanking me for my business and asked if I was satisfied with my experience and let him know that I wasn't happy....haven't heard back from him! I also tried [redacted] several times and he has not gotten back to me since. I also left messages with [redacted] and [redacted] about this and about not receiving the title or registration yet and it has been over 3 weeks which I was told I should receive it within 3 weeks.Desired Settlement: I feel that there was no attempt to even discuss the situation with me so I feel like we were totally ripped off and cheated! Not a very good thing for my daughters or I to see! I feel they should reimburse me $394.85 for non-disclosure. It was extremely unprofessional to ignore calls and emails from someone who just purchased a car from their business.

Review: I have been a very loyal customer of Abeloffs for some years now and have always dealt with the same salesperson "[redacted]." Around July 2013 I had spoken to [redacted] about leasing a new vehicle because my lease was about to be up on the vehicle I had (2010 [redacted]). I had two payments left and discussed that with [redacted]. He informed me I was entitled to UP TO 3 payments waived on the [redacted] if I brought it in before the lease was up. I had two payments left and decided to turn it into the dealership on August 10 2013 with the assumption the last two payments would be waived. In that time I had the car inspected by a rep on behalf of [redacted] so I did not owe any damages for excessive wear and tear and I had also spoke directly to [redacted] finance to go over my payoff information and so forth. I had it all written down for [redacted] when I went down to purchase the new vehicle. He assured me no worries everything would be taken care of and I felt confident leaving with the new leased vehicle. A month or so passed and I got a bill from [redacted] Finance for one remaining payment on the vehicle. I called [redacted] and he said not to worry he would take care of it. In the meantime I also called [redacted] Finance and they told me only one payment was made and I was responsible for the other however I had to take it up with the dealership since the offer came from them. I went back and forth for a few months and kind of had things on hold because I had a child but now the problem still arises and it has been brought to a collections department. I have sent [redacted] of Abeloff an email and never got a response. I am not sure where to go from here but had I known I had to make my remaining car payments I would of gladly waited to bring the vehicle in for a new one or gone to a different dealership.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of what was promised to be paid off and this removed from the collection agency and my credit report. Thank you very much

Review: Abeloff nissan had a 2003 [redacted] VIN # [redacted] listed on [redacted]. Com for $7675. I went to the dealer and looked at the car, James J[redacted] (salesman) told me they just got it in and had to run it through they're shop. He called me later and told me the price was now $8995. He said on their website abeloffnissan.Com it said call for price. However the listing they listed on [redacted].com said no such thing about price. It simply stated the price at $7675. I feel it's wrong to have a price listed and not honor it. It says nowhere on the [redacted] listing that this is a "suggested" price or anything of the sort.Desired Settlement: I would like the vehicle at the price listed on [redacted].com

Review: I brought my 2006 Nissan Titan into Abeloff Nissan for two recalls. (ECM relay & fuel sender). When I went in to pick it up the check engine light was on and my transmission was no longer working properly. Prior to bringing my vehicle into Abeloff I had no transmission issues ever!! They are telling me that I am showing a code that is for the "front break solenoid" located in the transmission which to repair means replacing the entire valve body. Part alone costs $1200.00 and the total after labor was $1600.00 and that after they replaced the valve body that they couldn't guarantee that there wouldn't be further damage to the transmission. After hours of research I found multiple cases where this ECM relay replacement caused the same transmission failure in other Nissan vehicles that had the ECM recall performed. I brought this to the attention of the service department who never encountered this problem prior to my vehicle. The mechanic that performed the recall was in the office when I was explaining how I had found other cases. He said that he had also researched the ECM relay causing this transmission issue and he said that he also found the same information that I found. He said I would have to fight Nissan on this one. Well, I tried! Nissan Corporate is denying to help me because my vehicle is outside the warranty limits. This is not a warranty issue! This problem was a direct result of having another Nissan part installed during a RECALL! If Nissan's Corporate office does not want to fix the problem that their part caused then the blame must lie within the dealership who installed the part and caused the malfunction. The service manager and certified Nissan mechanic at Abeloff agreed that Nissan should repair my vehicle and I need the dealership to stand behind me and fix my truck.Desired Settlement: I would like the dealership to either fix the problem with the transmission or give me the $1600.00 that they quoted me to have the valve body replaced.

Response:

As a franchise dealership we perform warranty repairs for Nissan; however Nissan provides the vehicle warranty and makes all decisions as to coverage. In the case of [redacted]. [redacted]’s vehicle both campaigns that were performed on her vehicle were done according to Nissan’s specifications and were covered in full by Nissan. Her 2006 Titan is out of factory warranty, therefore any additional repairs would be at Nissan’s discretion and they have declined any addition coverage for the Valve Body repair. Abeloff as a dealership is not part of and has no control over that decision.

In the interest of customer relations we have as a dealership agreed to perform the valve body repair for a total cost of $919.83 (plus tax). This amount covers our cost only for the repair. At this time the vehicle is at our dealership awaiting the parts to complete the repair. It is our hope that this will bring this matter to a satisfactory conclusion that is fair to everyone concerned. If you have any questions or require additional information, please feel free to contact us.
