I had [redacted]'s roof repair come out and give an estimate for a roof repair. I was extremely pleased with the knowledge [redacted] has about roofing: and explained to me in a way I could understand why I had a leak and the options I had to fix it. as well as prevent future problems. I was happy with the employees he had on my home and the repair time. All work was supervised and most of the time the owner([redacted]) was doing the repairs. The repair was finished on time and at budget . There was -0- trash or used building supplies left for me to clean up. Well done!!

Review: 1. This company's website states that the benefit of hiring this company is that the owner personally supervises every job. This did not happen at my home. The owner dropped off a worker and left him unsupervised from 10 or 10:30am until about 3 pm when a foreman arrived to check the work and pick him up. I called the owner to ask him why he did not do this, and was told it was impossible for him to supervise all the work. So far he has even refused to come back and inspect the work. To me, this is false advertising.

2. His business card and invoice state that he accepts credit cards and [redacted]. The owner even told me he would send me a final invoice with photos of the completed job. However, this turned out not to be true. He made us pay by check, and told me that the [redacted] and credit card references were supposed to be removed from his website and business cards. Again, false advertising.

3. His invoice states that the workmen will pick up and dispose of all roof debris. They worked late, and had to come back the following day for cleanup. They took the big trash, but left several pounds of concrete mix spilled on my driveway, blew all the small debris with a leaf blower into my bushes, and washed out their concrete pails over my sprinkler valve boxes, completely cementing one set of valves together. I had to put a stop payment on my check at an extra cost to me of $31 to get the owner's attention and get him to send his foreman out to clean up the mess and finally get me the final photos of the completed work.Desired Settlement: At a minimum this company should be investigated/reprimanded, and/or their A rating removed, for their falsely advertised claims of direct owner supervision and acceptance of [redacted] and credit cards.

The advertised claim of direct owner supervision was a primary reason I hired this company in the first place. The foreman did not even supervise my job, as he claimed his car broke down. I will now have to spend $400 to hire a home inspector to verify this company's work.

The inability to pay with a credit card was also a large burden at Christmas time. I had an unexpected scramble to get cash into my account, as I was counting on his advertised claims of credit acceptance. These are both VERY deceptive practices.
