Hello, The job was done on September 14, 2015. The service called for a Buff all Swirls + Wax for $300.00. We completed the process. The customer stated he was not satisfied with the results. After a bit of back and forth we scheduled the truck to return  so that we may get it done...

over for the customer with the help of a professional 3M Buff and Detailer. His info is below.  Friday September 25th 2015, the truck was dropped off and our 3M rep guided my detail tech hands on as to the re-buff and re-wax of the job. We also acquired a rental vehicle for the customer's inconvenience at no cost to him. Once the vehicle was complete, the customer returned, looked it over with us, and agreed to us that this was the result he was expecting in the beginning. We apologized for having him come back a second time. The deal was settled by then.We are unclear and have not heard from [redacted] about the "damage" that has been done to his paint since he left our shop. We cannot account for what other process or other detail shops he has used in the past year and a half that may have caused permanent damage to his vehicle.I would highly encourage a further investigation on the customers historical service to his vehicle after he took possession of the vehicle at our shop. 3M Professional Contact that aided in the process of detailing the customer's vehicle when it returned for the second time. [redacted]The final result which you signed off on, was that you would accept the vehicle with the tints left on the car. You had gone over the tints, accepted the side ones, save for some matrix bubbles which would settle in a week. You decided to get your money back, which we paid you in full, and since...

you we're satisfied with the tint on the side windows, we thought it would be best to leave them on for you for the inconvenience we had caused you for coming back to redo it once. Essentially you had free tint job on your vehicle.The tools we used and always use are plastic and rubber, sometimes an old or worn tool may cause a scratch or fine scratches on the tint as we settle it along the corners of the glass. The tool could not have possibly caused a scratch on your glass and here are the reasons why.1. The evidence would be on the tint itself, it would be scratched and a large noticeable mark left on the film itself, which if you saw you would have pointed out. You didn't which means you accepted that tint as it was, no scratch on tint, no scratch on glass.2. The tools we use again are light plastic, and rubber, they are made of those materials for a reason, to avoid scratches on glass, trim or any other part of the vehicle while it is being tinted. The film is more fragile, and that is why they do end up getting scratched if not squeegeed the right way, which is what happened the first time, which we accepted fault of our own and went ahead to replace tints at no additional cost to you. Which again after they we're done the second time, you accepted them, save for the rear glass.3. You took the vehicle to a separate shop, they removed the tint (I assume) in order to redo it, you said they told you after the fact that there was a scratch there. What proof do you have that it wasn't done in that shop. What proof do you have that it was not on there before you brought it to us. I never saw a scratch on any of your glass whatsoever, I would have called you if I did see one or if one of my techs did see one, because as a tint shop, we are working on your vehicle and we want to make sure to make you aware of any preconditions the vehicle may have before we start or continue to do service on it, that is done to avoid any future complaints like this one.At this point, there appears to be anything else we can do to satisfy you which is why we suggested you take it up with your attorney. There is no other action that we wish to take moving forward but you have the right to do with this situation as you wish. Tim we offered to redo the rear glass, and we're willing to give you a ride home or  rent a vehicle for you on our behalf at our cost. This would be the second time since the first time we did give your friend a ride when she dropped it off the second time. We had no issue with that at all. We spent extra hours of labor to remove the tints on the side windows to redo them for you the right way the second time around. We believe we we're fair and just in our handling of the situation. Accidents happens and we do not live in a dust free environment, I explained this to you personally, that issues do arise from time to time, unfortunately it was with your tints, we offered to fix them, over and again. You decided to take your money back and we accepted that and even let you keep your tint job. There is nothing else that we can offer you at this point in time.

I have decided not to take this case to court.  Although the damage to my glass is definitely there and was without a doubt caused by Abe's, I figured it is not worth my time since I am very busy with work and unable to take time off.  I am cutting my losses again with this business.
