I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I stand by my original claim.  I was not treated appropriately and the shoes cannot be worn comfortably.  Unfortunately the only response by the owner is a below the belt comment about my integrity.  I can rest assured that I am speaking my "truth" and I responded in an appropriate manner when I responded to his response which again was "Give me the money and don't come back."  My response was "If you chose to treat your clients in this matter then it is not about me, it's about you." Of course , not one likes to be treated rudely especially when they doing business.  His response to my claim is just his way of covering up the fact that he was unwilling to work with me to solve the issue and is completely unacceptable.

This is [redacted] Angulo owner of Abe's Show Repair and received your complaint #[redacted] about a repair done in my store.Mrs. [redacted], when you came to the store to fix your sandals I explained to you the way we fix the sandals. I explain you at the time the suede cannot be clean as new like regular leather does because the suede retain more dirt deep inside and I also told you we going to clean the insoles without quimicasl as you requested. You were agreed with everything said and you left the sandals to be fixed. The rest is history.We are doing birkenstock full soles and clean repair since Feb/ 1989 and over all this years you are the only person complaining about it. You know the job was done right. I have the video surveillance that will assure everything I'm saying is the true. I did the repair exactly the way I told you. I included some pictures before and after so you can see I CLEANED the insoles and get rid of this dead skin and dirt that make the insoles look so dirty. If you have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-####.Sincerely, Owner of Abe's Shoe Repair

This is [redacted] owner of Abe's Shoe Repair and received your complaint # [redacted] about a repair done in my store.Mrs. [redacted] brought in a pair of Burkenstock sandals on Saturday February 7th/2015 to replace the full soles and clean the uppers. She told me not to use any quimical...

materials to the uppers to be cleaned so instead of using a leather cleaner that contain a quimical I used a metal brush to bring the suede back again (form smooth and dirty to suede and cleaned) . I told her the sandals will be done on Friday February 13th/2015.All the repairs I do required at least a week in order to be done.She called on Wednesday the 11th in the morning and asked me if they were done, I told her it will be done on Friday 13th just like the claim check said, she hanged up and about I hour later I was waiving another customer and she showed up to the store and notice she started to look (I believe) for the claim check in her bag. Apparently she could not find it and she left while I was still helping the customer. The next day she called again in the afternoon asking the same thing, I told her not yet but if I have a chance to have them before, I will call her back. Finally she came on Friday Feb. 13th and I noticed she had an attitude on her face. When I showed her the sandals she made a big problem saying she was not satisfied with my work.At this point I'm sure she is looking for an excuse to get her money back JUST because she could not get them before the time I told her will be done.When you have a new pair of Birkenstock sandals they have a suede bed foot insoles and over the years of use it becomes smooth and dirty. I explained to her at the first time the bed foot will be back to original way and she agreed but told me not to use any quimicals. (See pictures used as samples).This kind of work is done the same way in any shoe repair center, now I don' t know if she is trying to take advantage on small business so she does not pay for services done. I won't give my service free to anyone. I don' t think she is an honest person at all because I know deep inside she knows I made an excellent job on her sandals.If you have any questions, please contact me at ###-###-####.
