The whole purpose of transferring the files was so that I could access the information (it has my banking and bookkeeping for my company - I need this to file my income taxes) - If he KNEW that transferring the files would NOT allow me to access the information - He should have disclosed that upfront -then I would have taken the zip and hard drive to someone else - I thought putting it on a flash drive would allow me to access it -- but he didn't even test it -- he states that it could be corrupted -- so why take my money of you can't do what you are asked and you KNOW ahead of time I won't be able to access or utilize it -- that doesn't make sense -- He states that he is willing to try something else - OK but I am not paying a second time for the very thing I paid for the first time AND DIDN"T GET-- and if he thinks he can do something else -- WHY didn't he try that BEFORE he told me he finished the job without TESTING it first? I definitely want my hard drive back and if he thinks he can do what is the RIGHT thing - I am willing to drive it out to Troy again but I am not willing to throw additional money to him when he didn't do it right the first time--If he can access the files (and verify it) than he can keep the money I paid -- but if not I still want my hard drive and my money because now I will have to go find someone else to do the transfer and STILL pay that person - thank you

It was a 12 year old zip drive and very difficult to work with but we were able to transfer the data. We cannot guarantee that the data is not corrupted. We cannot see the data, only the...

size of the files and they matched. We still have her computer which she can have back. We are also willing to try again. There is an alternative method that we can attempt to transfer the data if she brings the zip drive in again. It is important to also state that the data must be read with the old software and if she is trying to read with new software she will be unable.
