A verbal agreement was made with the owner of Abilene Repair Plumbing when he fixed our main line to our home that we paid $3500 for the full job with $1,000 up front and the. 'Pay what you can when you can'. We paid $100 a month and never missed a payment. We only ever received one receipt from the owners wife who claims to have nothing to do with the business. She text my wife on Saturday and told us we had to pay the remaining balance of $900 by the end of the year (3 weeks). She began making threats to put a lien on my home, told my wife she was coming to our home and that my wife was 'bold over text? and that she was more than just over text, meaning she would get violent with my disabled wife. My wife and the owners wife are former co-workers. We were never given a deadline to meet and never missed a payment. My wife paid $600 on Saturday to keep the owners wife away from our family and our young son. She said we'd have till January 23rd to pay the remaining balance. The owner has moved to Washington and has had no contact with us. His wife is not paid by this business nor does she take care of any of its finances.

Billing Adjustment We want the remaining $300 balance wiped and a 'paid in full? receipt to show equity in our home as well as to keep them away from us. We've had to buy 'no trespassing? signs and block the wife's phone number.
In February 2017 there was a verbal agreement for these said customers to pay as needed, and once the wife started receiving disability they would pay more to have the balance paid in full by the end of the year 2017. I have numerous texts stating that more would be paid but they never did. When asked to have the balance paid in full, I received numerous texts that were completely irrelevant to the bill owed, that concerned my children, therefore stated I would just finish this conversation in person since the wife refused to have her husband call the owner. Not once have I ever claimed to not have anything to do with this business, as I do handle his affairs while he is out of state. By text we agreed on the $600 to be paid on 12/09/17, and the remaining $300 to be paid on 01/24/2018. On 12/12/2017 the wife called me and stated she wanted a signature on the receipt and that if I would do that for her she would withdraw the complaint and pay the $300 as agreed upon. She stated at that time that she DID state they would have it paid in full by the end of the year but she didn't expect for other financial expenses to arise. We agreed for her to come by on 12/14/2017 to have me sign the receipt.She did text and apologize for her actions when we met for the $600 on 12/09/17. Her son and her came to my home on 12/14/2017 and we visited and I did sign her receipt. Her and I have been friends for a good time now, and all that I had asked was to be informed of her payments and to pay as she stated by text. There are no issues between me and these said customers, and they have still agreed to pay the $300 as agreed on 01/24/2018.

We want a $500 refund. We were given 25 months to pay this and never missed a payment. The owner's wife threatened us and intimidated us into paying $600 on Saturday December 9, 2017.
