My hot water heater stopped working so I called my insurance company and they sent out Ability Access Plumbing and Rooter. They did showed up on time and only looked at the water heater and just said you need a new one. I have insurance for the repairs however they stated that many of their items they had to do were called modification which the insurance would not cover. Yes they only want to make money (example $45 to move two straps up 4 inches, $95 to install two flex supplies lines, $75 for a ground wire and $55 for spacers which was two boards screwed to the wall.) They did put in a brand new water heater however it didn't work. I called them the next morning (Friday) and they said to call my insurance company to request a call back. I did and they said they would come out on Monday. Well Monday morning they called and said they were not going to come and that I had to call the manufacturer to have them fix it. They wouldn't stand behind their work. I call another plumbing company when they arrived they fixed it in 15 minutes. The upper heating eliminate was burned up because Ability Access Plumbing and Rooter turned on the power to the water heater before the tank was full of water which fried the heating eliminate. Very bad company to do business with. I recommend that you stay away from them unless you want to loose money.

I sent over the photos to that email. Thank you

Its disheartening that people like this have licenses and that it leaves the consumer waiting. Im providing 2 pictures of [redacted] work. I just want you to look at them and evaluate his work, it took him over 6 hrs. As you can also see in the pictures his solder work leaked several times. The 3rd pictures is how solder work should look and that only took 30-45 minutes.

Hello, we received this work order # [redacted] FOR PROPERTY ADDRESS [redacted] MODESTO, CA 95355 from First American Home Warranty on 07/21/2016 as an emergency work order for a slab leak. We called home owner and scheduled an appointment between 10-12 am that same day, home owner called back...

that same day wanted to reschedule for 2-4 pm. Tech went out 07/21/2016 at 2:20 pm and found damages on floor, baseboard and drywall. Home owner stated he had a slab leak and caused secondary damages. tech did inspection and found cause of damages were not done by slab leak, Home owner had a leaking copper pipe inside wall. Tech called the Home warranty and got authorization to create access in dry wall and found 3/4 elbow copper pipe leaking. Tech called back to home warranty because the  access had to be done outside stucko and Home warranty did not cover for access through outside stucko. the home owner was responsible to make access through outside stucko. Home owner agreed to make access and stated he was going to call us back when he had already made this access. We made the next appointment on 07/30/2016 between 10-12. The home owner called a day before on 07/29/2016 and wanted to reschedule again and he stated he will call us back to reschedule. On 08/09/2016 home owner called back and wanted to speak to technician about how big the access needed to be. On 08/13/2016 home owner called back and confirmed appointment for 08/15/2016 12-2 pm and Home owner called back to reschedule again for 08/15/2016 2-4 pm. Home owner let the problem run for 29 days causing more damages to floor, wall, and baseboard. Technician did repairs on 08/19/2016 and took pictures of job done (WILL BE SUBMITTED SEPARABLY)and no more leaks were left also showed to home owner.Home owner left voice mail on Saturday evening that he has a leak from the job done and has secondary damages which these damages were already made. he refused our services and he called his  home warranty to have different company to go out there.

Review: Ability Access Plumbing & Rooter owes me the sum of $75. Mr. [redacted], the technician, who I have already paid $250.00 to fix my toilet made a verbal agreement with me on 02-23-16 to not charge me the $75 service call fee in exchange for me authorizing him to fix my toilet after [redacted] refused to authorize Mr. [redacted] to do the repairs. Mr. [redacted] contacted [redacted] and was told they were not going to authorize the repairs because I had removed the toilet the night before to prevent further damage to my linoleum floor due to water that was leaking from the base of the toilet. They stated that due to the removal of the toilet Mr. [redacted] would not be able to diagnose the damages, therefore they would authorize him to make repairs. Mr. [redacted] then stated that he would give me an estimate on his behalf as to how much he would charge me to do the repairs without [redacted] authorization. Mr. [redacted]'s original estimated quote was $280 at which time I asked him if he could do it for $250. He stated no. I then agreed for Mr. [redacted] to do the repairs for $250. He stated that he had to go to [redacted] in [redacted] to find the parts and would return. Upon Mr. [redacted]'s return to my [redacted] I advised him that I had contacted [redacted] to see if I still had to pay the $75 service fee and was advised that it was up to him if he would waiver the $75 service fee not them. I then verbally told Mr. [redacted] that if he was willing to waive the $75 service fee then I would authorize him to make the repairs on behalf of his company and not [redacted] which he gratefully stated that we would waive the fee and only change me $250 instead of the original estimated charge of $280. He also showed me that he had written on my receipt "NOT COLLECT SERVICE CALL" before I signed the recipt. Now I am being charge by [redacted] the $75 service fee which they have already paid to Ability Access Plumbing & Rooter.Desired Settlement: I would Ability Access Plumbing & Rooter to contact [redacted] to advise them the $75 service fee was verbally waived by Mr. [redacted] on 02-23-16 for services that were done on behalf of their company and not [redacted]. The $75 service that [redacted] should be refunded to them not me.

Thank you,

Business
