Abington Spa

I had one of the worst experiences of my life going to Abington Spa this past week for a simple eyebrow wax. The women did not know what she was doing and waxed off half my eyebrow. There is no station for waxing and the salon as really poor lighting. She also left wax residue on my face. The women didn't charge me because of her mistake of waxing off half my brow. I told the women my concern before she even started about how I was afraid to come to a new place to get my eyebrows waxed due to a horrible past experience, and well what she did to my brows was way worse than my past experience! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR WAXING, you will regret it!

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Every word of what Victoria just wrote is a complete lieI never once told them that my previous blowout did not takeI told them it took wonderfullyMy hair looked nothing like the photo I gave them of what I wantedI received numerous messages from others who had their hair destroyed by this stylist, also a message from the stylists previous employer who informed me that she has not taken a class in over years and stated to her employer that she "mentally checked out of being a stylist"I also received messages from previous employees of Abington spaI have every photo to prove that my hair was nothing of what I asked for, and I initially contacted the stylist within days of having it done regarding how yellow the blond was, because I was very specific of how I did not want any yellow or brassy colors in my hairI find it very hard to believe that this woman received any phone call regarding me being a con artistI had one prior experience before this, within the last years, if not getting what I asked for with a stylistBefore then, I went to the same stylist for over yearsI have all of the text messages that were sent back and forth between the stylist and myself and not one of them were threateningThis woman harassed my friends on [redacted] , when I never even called the salon onceI cancelled my appointment because she was argumentative, spoke down to me, and acted like I was doing something wrong because of the horrible job this woman did on my hairIt took hours for this mess to be fixed by different stylists at a different salon, and they did an amazing job, especially with what they had to work with and fixMy hair now looks almost exactly like the original photo I had given Abington spa of what I wanted done with my hairThis woman is a horrible business womanI have dedicated my life to saving others wiring in emergency medical services, I have a family that I spend every day taking care ofI am an established mature adult, who wanted what I paid for, which I did not getThe stylists who fixed my hair could not even believe whah they were seeing, and the mess Abington created with my hairI am not a con artist, I am simply a consumer who expects to get what I pay forThis business will not last long if this is how they will treat their customersI am beside myself with the lies that were written in Victoria's responseAnyone who actually knows anything about the industry, knows that a person needs to get home, play with their hair, wash it, style it, before they truly know if they like itI would be more than happy to furnish all the negative messages I received regarding this salon and the stylistI have already furnished photos of my hair as well as photos of the entire text message conversation with the stylist, but will be happy to send them againIf my messages were threatening, the officer I spoke with would have actually mentioned them to me, instead he needed to go back to Victoria and ask her to stop harassing my friends via [redacted] This is all just bad businessPeriod! I also received messages from previous employees of Abington spa. I have every photo to prove that my hair was nothing of what I asked for, and I initially contacted the stylist within 3 days of having it done regarding how yellow the blond was, because I was very specific of how I did not want any yellow or brassy colors in my hair. I find it very hard to believe that this woman received any phone call regarding me being a con artist. I had one prior experience before this, within the last 3 years, if not getting what I asked for with a stylist. Before then, I went to the same stylist for over 10 years. I have all of the text messages that were sent back and forth between the stylist and myself and not one of them were threatening. This woman harassed my friends on [redacted], when I never even called the salon once. I cancelled my appointment because she was argumentative, spoke down to me, and acted like I was doing something wrong because of the horrible job this woman did on my hair. It took 4.5 hours for this mess to be fixed by 2 different stylists at a different salon, and they did an amazing job, especially with what they had to work with and fix. My hair now looks almost exactly like the original photo I had given Abington spa of what I wanted done with my hair. This woman is a horrible business woman. I have dedicated my life to saving others wiring in emergency medical services, I have a family that I spend every day taking care of. I am an established mature adult, who wanted what I paid for, which I did not get. The stylists who fixed my hair could not even believe whah they were seeing, and the mess Abington created with my hair. I am not a con artist, I am simply a consumer who expects to get what I pay for. This business will not last long if this is how they will treat their customers. I am beside myself with the lies that were written in Victoria's response. Anyone who actually knows anything about the industry, knows that a person needs to get home, play with their hair, wash it, style it, before they truly know if they like it. I would be more than happy to furnish all the negative messages I received regarding this salon and the stylist. I have already furnished photos of my hair as well as photos of the entire text message conversation with the stylist, but will be happy to send them again. l, Victoria R[redacted] am the business owner of Abington Spa. From the moment this women called we knew she would be a nuisance. However, we did not know to what extreme. When she booked her appointment with jackie she stated she got a Brazilian13 blow out before and it did not take. The hairstylist...

Tracey came in on her day off and to accommodate this women.I was here when Tracy S[redacted] (hairstylist of [redacted]) was doing [redacted]'s hair. All she did was complain about every salon she went to. She gave Tracy a picture of what she wanted. She stated "I want chunky blond in my hair'. That is what she asked for that is what she got. Tracy explain that the blond would not be bleach blonde the first time around just because she had dark hair. Tracy gave her a 30 minute consultation explaining all of this. After her service asked her three times three different ways if she liked her hair. ( wanted to protect myself because of the way she was bashing other salons), She said every time she lowed her and she would defiantly be back. A week later she told Tracey in a text she did not like her hair, Tracey told her she would have my call her. The last text she sent to Tracy was threatening. called her and nicely asked her to contact the spa from now on and ask for me. I was going to have her come in Wednesday for a free hair color and 50% off Brazilian blow out. then called her back to move it to Sunday because Tracy was not comfortable being in the same building as her because of the prior text messages. Later of that day she called to cancel her appointment with Jackie (the one where a stylist was going to fix what she decided she did not like anymore). Thankfully for me had three witnesses for when she canceled her appointment. I tried accommodated her "fixing what she did not like anymore.[redacted] is a con artist. She made lies, false accusation and TRIED to embarrass my place of business. She canceled her appointment because she wanted to get her money back. This is what you call a scam. She tried scamming my business. I was contacted by another business telling me she is a nuisance. She wants a "free” service. will not give her, her money back. She got EXACTLY what she asked for, Lucky for me I have had witnesses throughout this whole process with the [redacted] women. I am so hurt that something like this is happening to me. I will NOT give a con artist a "refund". I feel used, and just at a loss for words. Her trying to get a "refund is STEALING. In my eyes she is a thief and anyone who has been a victim of a scam will know how feel. feel pained by this.
