To Whom It May Concern:In regards to [redacted] claim.The first time we moved her was in November 2016, we put some of her household furniture in storagethat included the television at which time she was told that because the television was not boxed it wasnot insured, she said fine but she wanted it put in storage so we put it and other furniture in a storagelocker for her.Then in December of she called and scheduled another move and because she had storage lockersand an apartment to move two trucks and four men were booked to do the jobThe job was set up forDecember 13, between 8:00am and 8:30am, when the men arrived to move her she was not evenout of bed yet, she then informed my men that they would have to wait until she got ready which wasaround 10:the men called into office and I told them to start her time at 8:30am just because it wasnot our fault that she was not ready since a certain time had been setHer furniture was moved intoher new address, apparently there was some stuff that she didn't want and that had to be taken backto her storage lockerShe was charged for a total of eleven and one half hoursShe was very difficult toget along with due to the fact that she was drinking all day.The next day she called office about a missing lamp I asked the men about said lamp and they told methat they only moved two lamps and not three like she was claiming that we moved, there was someitems that weren't put back together and I did send [redacted] out to take care of it, which he took care of.Thought that was the end of it didn't hear from her so I thought that everything was okayFew dayswent by and she called about her television being broken and missing lamp and she had something toshow me we were going to meet and she called and canceled the meeting until after the holidaysThething she wanted to show me was a text that she referenced in her complaint, at that time I told her Ihad been told about the text and that it was sent to her phone by mistake,(fact it was late at night whenthis happened) why was she texting [redacted] at that time of night?I do not feel that we owe her for this televisionI think this is a fraudulent claim and if I were to pay anyamount it would be cents per pound per article as stated on our contract.Thank you [redacted] Aaron Allen Moving###-###-####

In regards to *** *** response under the circumstances we do not feel she is entitled to any compensation on this claim, because the claims she made where untrue.But in the interest of public relations we would offer our insurance rate of $per pound per article as stated in our contract, which by the way she refused to initial the day of the move.Thank youJoann H***Aaron Allen Moving###-###-####

I am rejecting this response because: The television was taken out the first time with blankets that they said would protect it and all would be fine When Bob arrived to move things to my new address it was 8:a.mI had been told 8:a.m I was up and getting out of shower and dressed within a few minutes, it was at or before 8:a.mBob said he heard that his co workers had moved my things into storage once and he apologized saying they are not good at their jobsBob did alot of grunting while moving my things and there was a wall unit that he said there was no way they could get in upstairs, I finally told him that if they couldn't get it up there to please just return it to the storageI also had told them not to bring the patio furniture, but they brought the table here anyways, that I might have kept here even though I didn't ask them to bring it but they had not bought the chairs with it, so I told them to take that back tooWhen they left, I looked the next day and the movers had left pieces that went to the wall unit upstairs in the bedroom knowing that they had told me that it was not possible to get the unit up there so of course I called and asked them to come back and get themI did not consume one drop of alcohol on the day of the moveAs a matter of fact I had things which I wasn't going to use and I gave Bob some things and also a couple of the others, I was not difficult to get along withI offered and gave them thingsThe next day when Bob was told to come back and put things together and get the pieces to the wall unit that he had left, he put the television on the stand and connected it, my television had what looked like a crack on the top right side in it and there were lines going through the television, I then began to cry and I did drink alcoholBob tried to get me to sign papers when he was leaving but considering all that they had done and not done, I did not trust him, so I did not signBob told me to get a claim form for the television and lampsI thought that one of the blue lamps was missing but I found it and let Bob know thatof them were broken, I also had a tall standing lamp that was still new that they moved that was also brokenWhen I called the owners of the business, they wanted receipts for the lampsI did not plan for a moving company to destroy my things so I didn't have a receipt for the lamps, which does not change the fact that they broke themThe "LATE" hour that they claim that I texted Bob asking if he was going to bring the claim forms by or tell me where to get them was 4:in the afternoon, I have proof as it is still on my phone, he didn't text me back until after 9:p.mthen asking " Do you want your *** ***" after I didnt answer him he then texted and asked, who is this, I still didn't answer and then he texted again saying "wrong number" since he realized he had made a bad moveHe knew my number very well and several times when I had called him as I was leaving a voicemail he called me back as I was leaving itThis is a dirty company that cares nothing about the people or the things they moveI want to be reimbursed for everything that they broke
