I've lived in several states , & Cleco is by far the worst power company I've ever encounteredRandom outages for no apparent reason, outrageously high bills & a power grid / infrastructure that I can only surmise is made of spare parts held together with electric tapeThe customer service department doesn't seem to comprehend their purpose & will lie to a customer as readily as draw their next breathHopefully they will fold sometime in the near futureI would give a negative number for the review if we're possibleAvoid this company if at all possible!!!! Borrowed from another client of CLECO I agree with this review 100% I have dealt with far better companies than this as far as a public utility goes In this case, I have been billed for reconnect and deposits over the space of three months, even though the power has never been actually turned off, other than by the shoddy grid held together with duct tape and bailing wire This situation has been going on for at least four months If it were possible to give a negative five stars, CLECO would have it in the bag

I have dealt with far better companies than this as far as a public utility goes
In this case, I have been billed for reconnect and deposits over the space of three months, even though the power has never been actually turned off, other than by the shoddy grid held together with duct tape and bailing wire
This situation has been going on for at least four months
If it were possible to give a negative five stars, CLECO would have it in the bag
