I would not recommend this financial institution because they are not proactive in protecting their customerMy elderly parents had elder abuse in the way of identity theft and reported it to this institution but the SSCU did nothing to help in the matterWhat they did do is put a money judgement against my parents for the Visa Card debt that was not their ownThey have been less than sympathetic in the matterI understand that business is business but your customer who has been loyal and supportive of your institution deserves the same respect and supportThere are better financial institutions out there when it comes to protecting your investments and identity!

I had/have a lean against my car for a small loan that during a period of time I was unable to pay the monthly charges so it became delinquent. They repoed my car and said if I came up with the repo amount and got the balance to a good standing they would work with me. So I sold some valuable things of mine and went through many headaches in doing so and managed to get a release for my car from impound which totaled over 1800 dollars just for that. Now I understand things don't look good when bills aren't paid on time but I PAID THEM the amount they asked me to in order to keep my head above water. Not even a month and a half later they changed their mind about "what works for them" and relied my car again for a total amount of 3800 round about and gave NO NOTICE AT ALL.
Like I said I understand delinquicy is highly frowned upon and I understand that loan terms like mine say they reserve the right to repo the car but they could be given a notice or given another option. I would've even paid the acount up to a certain amount but they would not budge. Further more the amount I owed to them wasn't that much I was just unable to pay it and also pay for basic needs. They completely went from 0 to 100 without warning and no regards to their customers.
The man I spoke to was rude as if I was a felon, and wouldn't explain much more than "You have to pay 3700 or you don't get your car back" even though I had just dished out almost 2000 dolars to get it back a month ago! What kind of buisness is that?!

What they did do is put a money judgement against my parents for the Visa Card debt that was not their own. They have been less than sympathetic in the matter. I understand that business is business but your customer who has been loyal and supportive of your institution deserves the same respect and support. There are better financial institutions out there when it comes to protecting your investments and identity!
