We are currently in negotiation over these supposed issues.
Review: I am extremely disappointed with the inspection we received from [redacted] Inspection less than a year ago.
Since we have owned the house we have found out:
the hot water heater had flames burning onto the gas line ( burn marks could be easily seen and I have photos, [redacted] confirmed there was a Carbon Monoxide leak)
the hot water heater water supply has been completely shut off
the skylights leaked and so did the chimney
the chimney did not have a cap
the roof's shingles were not put on correctly and a section needed to be redone.
the attic insulation was full of bottles and cans and other various garbage
the electricity is inconsistent.
Our inspection report showed absolutely not one single one of these issues, Had we known, we may not have purchased this house. These are things that should be been EASILY picked up. The contract said they would be [redacted] to see things visually and most of these issues are clearly ones that are visible to an inspector.
We feel the money we spent on the inspection was really worthless to us and we are asking for a refund in the amount of $310.00.
Is it our sincere hope that we can resolve this amicably and appreciate [redacted] Inspection's understanding in our disappointment in this matter. I'm sure they an understand why we are upset.
