Review: [redacted]s Able came out and gave me a qoute of 300.00 - 1000.00 to fix a leak at the pitless adaptor to my well depending on how it went. It was located under concrete so I rented a saw and cut and disposeded of the concrete myself to save some money (or so I thought). [redacted]s arrived as stated and everything went ok, except I had to run to town to get supplies (I paid for) which were supposed to be brought along, and he road along in my truck, unbekownest to me, charging by the hour. He spent less then $50 in connections used from their truck and charged me for. So when I was handed the bill for $1497.00 for what was qouted at 300 -1000 and (and I already had done the hard part !!!!) I am not happy. Not to mention he is charging me by the hour to sit in his truck and talk on the cell phone, or find it at one point, 50 percent of the time! When asked why so much I basically was told thats how it is and deal with it. Well my advice is to never use him or at least at get a qoute in writing first, don't take him at his word. I actually thought it would come in at $700 since I did the concrete cutting and removal. Needless to say I am very dissappointed with the service provided, on the bill it has a charge for 39.95 van trip and $450 excavator trip, how did he think he was going to get here by horseback? Apparantly this was something he decided to add extra as he knew well ahead of time what it was going to take it as he came out and looked at it so how could he say it ever would have been $300 if your charging $450 to bring it out! He definitly did not hold up his end of the verbal agreement!! He even said it went smoother then expected, yet charged more then quoted!!! What a rip off, even gave them dinner wish I could take it back! [redacted]Desired Settlement: Refund the 450 that he charged extra.

Able Plumbing was called to repair a pump and check valve inside the

well at the above mentioned address. Upon further investigation, the

homeowner indicated that there was a leak between the well and the house,

which happened to be the cause of the problem. To my knowledge, there was

no verbal or written price quote given to the homeowner. Able Plumbing

priced the job very fairly charging for labor, materials, and machine use.

There were also other obstacles found while digging to repair the leak

including a buried pressure tank and numerous rocks and boulders that

needed to be removed. There was no mention of a disfavor towards the bill

when presented to Mr. [redacted]. Able Plumbing would like to get this issue

resolved immediately. Able Plumbing strives to make evelY customer

satisfied. We were shocked to see a letter from Revdex.com regarding this job because

we felt we had pleased Mr. [redacted]. Please call [redacted] at [redacted]

with any questions or concerns.

Review: Able plumbing cut out split copper pipes and put in plastic tubing attached with clamps. They told me that it was permanent plumbing. I had to have them back here seveal times for leaks. Last time I had to wait for a month for them to respond to my call about a leak. I paid them over $2100 out of which laborwas $1200. I can not live with this constant fear of water spurting all.over. My neighbor said that they were warned about doing this again as he was also a victim.Desired Settlement: Repair and put in propper pipes

I hope able is a last name, and not some kind of business motto, because they certainly were not able to satisfy this potential customer.
Let me start by saying that I fully understand booking and appontments and having to wait your turn. However, having worked in customer service for 5 years I can honestly say that these people do not value their customers or respect their needs and time.
I had a pipe burst, which drained my hot water and pushed sewage up my toilet. My first experience was a receptionist telling me to hold on she'll have Les call me. Ok, understandable. Les calls, and after just a couple minutes of telling him what I need, he says "hold on I have another call to take." At this point I'm feeling a little brushed off, but he did call back pretty quickly. I was told they'd be out that afternoon, and that they would allow the service to be billed. 4 pm rolls around and no one shows up, so we call and are told we will get a call back at 7 am, and that we were "top priority in the morning." 7:30 rolls around, no call so we call in and they tell us George is on his way, they have us call George and give our address (Which is weird, why wouldn't he have had it?). George informs us we will not be able to bill the service and payment will be up front, which is not what Les (George's boss) told me the day before. So George shows up, says he found the issue, BUT THEN LEFT BEFORE FIXING ANYTHING. Apparently there was some other job that they needed to do.
Again I understand jobs happen, but when someone is a "top priority" you don't show up and then be like "cya someone else is more important, we'll be back tomorrow." Not to sound self important, but I can't not have hot water, and I can't have sewage coming up. I have a three year old, who can't go use a toilet or take a bath. AND, they act like every one can just drop everything and work around their needs. Sorry, but I can't not go to work, and I can't inconvenience everyone else in my life asking them to sit around at my house for 2 or 3 days waiting for someone who might show up and might work.
This whole experience has been a nightmare, and I will NEVER choose this company for anything again. They were unreliable, had poor customer service, and wasted my time. [redacted] I called able to get in sooner, but honestly, I'd rather have to wait a week and know I'm getting decent service.
0/10 would not recommend.
