Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAs stated in the response by Able Plumbing, they were hired to come out to fix the septic because I was told that solids in the liquid side were a big 'No No" [redacted] from Able Plumbing DID tell me AFTER he dug up our septic tank, that solids can be very common in the liquid side and will not pose a problem as the pump has a filter on it that will not allow solids to go into the leach field We didn't have many solids at all in the liquid side and Able Plumbing informed me that my tank was fine....AFTER he came and dug up my tank Why was this not said in the beginning? Also, a camera was dropped down and no baffle was seen, but as mentioned before, it was done very quickly and inefficiently As far as being charged fairly: I was quoted $and was charged double for a job that never needed to be done in the first place since I was informed that some solids can be in the liquid side Able Plumbing also did not have the tools necessary for doing this job and had to send one of the workers out to get the proper tools/supplies and yet I was charged for the labor for that hour I also had to supply the bricks needed to cover the hole in the septic that they cutIn a nutshell, as I've stated all of this in my first complaint: This job never needed to be done in the first place I was led to believe that this needed to be done only to find that Able Plumbing was calling three other people for advice about the system when it was Able Plumbing that put this system in in the first place about six years ago! Also, there was never a problem with the baffle as Able Plumbing told me there was so they needed to dig and cut into my septic The left a mess and I had to finish filling in the hole [redacted] even told me, "you're going to need to grab a shovel and rake and finish the job." So they came out, did a job that didn't need to be done, charged me double, only to tell me after that solids in the liquid tank can be common and and my septic is fineWhy should I have to pay for a job that never needed to be done in the first place?? Revdex.com informed me that Able Plumbing has other complaints against themAnother local plumber told me that Able Plumbing are crooksA friend told me that they had bad luck with them and were also charged way more than quoted and the job site was left a messI truly don't believe that I am in the wrong here...I feel that Able Plumbing should not be paid for a job that was wrongly done Regards, [redacted] ***

As stated in the response by Able Plumbing, they were hired to come out to fix the septic because I was told that solids in the liquid side were a big 'No No".    [redacted] from Able Plumbing DID tell me AFTER he dug up our septic tank, that solids can be very common in the liquid side and will not pose a problem as the pump has a filter on it that will not allow solids to go into the leach field..  We didn't have many solids at all in the liquid side and Able Plumbing informed me that my tank was fine....AFTER he came and dug up my tank.  Why was this not said in the beginning?
Also, a camera was dropped down and no baffle was seen, but as mentioned before, it was done very quickly and inefficiently.
As far as being charged fairly: I was quoted $800 and was charged double for a job that never needed to be done in the first place since I was informed that some solids can be normal in the liquid side.  Able Plumbing also did not have the tools necessary for doing this job and had to send one of the workers out to get the proper tools/supplies and yet I was charged for the labor for that hour.  I also had to supply the bricks needed to cover the hole in the septic that they cut.
In a nutshell, as I've stated all of this in my first complaint: This job never needed to be done in the first place.  I was led to believe that this needed to be done only to find that Able Plumbing was calling three other people for advice about the system when it was Able Plumbing that put this system in in the first place about six years ago!  Also, there was never a problem with the baffle as Able Plumbing told me there was so they needed to dig and cut into my septic.  The left a mess and I had to finish filling in the hole.  [redacted] even told me, "you're going to need to grab a shovel and rake and finish the job."

Revdex.com informed me that Able Plumbing has 3 other complaints against them.
Another local plumber told me that Able Plumbing are crooks.
A friend told me that they had bad luck with them and were also charged way more than quoted and the job site was left a mess.
I truly don't believe that I am in the wrong here...I feel that Able Plumbing should not be paid for a job that was wrongly done.

I did not get a written estimate except to say we will do right by you. The wiring was the wrong gauge and several things were not done right even before law change. When there was an issue with my neighbors they refused to do any work until my attorney spoke with them.  I have spoken with and shone this system and then work done and was told that I was way overcharged. My husband hadd passed away approximately 2 months before that so I realy was in a dream state. I ppaid him and told him that was the end of my husbands lifef insurance plus $1000. He sent out the person who did the work and we discussed what to do .Able plumbing did not leave the yard like it was. I had large raised flower beds running along the entrance of the work and when they got done many yards of beautiful black dirt was gone and the entrance was shaved down to clay that was totally un workable and does not grow grass. The back side of the mound has nothing stable to hold the sand so if you try and mow the weeds you sink in and can barely push the mower. I will send another message after work is done to county standards and as far as some sinking from winter yes to be expected but not enough dirt was put back to begin with plus the absence of my garden soil which was raked to a downhill grade to keep water from my house.  I still believe I am obligated for a $2000 refund for the lack of workmanship at a time of my grief . This jhob has totally stressed me out. I can take pictures.

severe winter we had. I have been waiting to fix the fill issues until I could speak with [redacted], Vernon County Inspector. [redacted] was a very good customer to work for and we feel like we have gone above and beyond to please her. We removed trees out of her yard at no extra cost to her. We also wrote a letter to her neighbors because there was an issue with having a shared septic system, at no extra cost to her. As for the electrical work, the State of Wisconsin just changed the law in April of 2014 that a licensed Electrician must install the electrical to the Septic Tank instead of a licensed plumber. Our contract with Mrs. [redacted] was from 2013 before that change went in to effect. Able Plumbing would like to get this issue resolved in a timely manner and to Mrs. [redacted]’s expectations. I just spoke to Mrs. [redacted] on the phone and we are going over to her residence to do what needs to be done to satisfy Mrs. [redacted]. Please call me at ###-###-#### with any questions or concerns.
Thank you,

Able Plumbing was hired by [redacted] and her husband in September of 2015 because they were having septic system problems. Able Plumbing was told that another plumber had previously been there and told them that they had solids in their liquid side of the tank. Able Plumbing took that into...

consideration when trying to diagnose the problem. A camera was used to try to further diagnose the issue; however, it was not able to clarify the problem. Therefore, the next step was to dig next to the septic tank to try to replace a baffle since the baffle was not seen on the camera. It takes process of elimination to figure out the problem in cases such as this one. Able Plumbing completed the job professionally in a timely manner with a fair price.
