Client contacted me on Friday the 20th for an update on their case.  I informed them it had been served and would be preparing proof of service for case over the weekend.  The affidavit was prepared and then mailed out on Monday the 23rd. The client address was in same city as our office...

so the post office confirms delivery in 2-3 days  so as to make sure they received paperwork in time for their hearing.  The court will only accept original signed affidavits so an emailed version would have not been acceptable.  I flew out of the country for vacation on Monday night.  I was contacted by the client on Wednesday following up on affidavit.  I informed them it was mailed on Monday and should arrive in the am.  They asked for an emailed copy.  I informed them I was out of the country and unable to access the copy I have unless I have someone go down to my office to retrieve it.  I informed them that I am happy to do that Thursday evening if they do not receive it in Thursdays mail.  I was in no way rude but if anything quick as I informed the client the phone conversation was costing over $4 a minute to provide this information.  The client received their paperwork on Thursday just as explained and they had no need to contact us after that as their case is complete.  As a side note-OSC hearings are order to show cause hearing where the court demands that an attorney show why they have not served the defendant within the 60 days provided by law.  The client didn't contact me for services until after this deadline had been missed and the hearing had been set but without informing our office of any rush and priority deadlines as we offer rush and priority rush services as faster but more costly options.
Service complete, affidavit provided, case complete. No refunds necessary.

Review: Contacted them for process service over a year ago, they will not answer my repeated attempts to contact, leaving multiple messages. They do not even return my call for refund.Desired Settlement: To have refunded.

Review: We had Abolt Process Services serve a defendant for us. We asked that she get the proof of service of summons to us by the end of the following week. When [redacted] Abolt failed to do so we called, emailed and called again hoping to get an answer on the status of the proof. We emailed her and called her and left several voicemails. On the 5th day of trying to get ahold of her, she answered our call to tell us she will have to get the POS to us later this week because she is in [redacted]. WE HAVE AN OSC THIS FRIDAY, hence why needed the POS yesterday. She was rude and irresponsible. Completely unprofessional.
