I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I do not feel that his compensation of $is enough What he stated in his statement is not correct If anything to settle this matter, I want refunded for the rental car expense of $which was needed to get home from work due to *** not giving me information if my car was going to be ready or not or what he was doing to fix the matter, time missed from work $that didn't need to happen, and compensated for the hood release to be fixed He did break it because it was in place when he got the car The part was from *** *** and I bought the parts that he said to get because he had them call me to get payment He had never mentioned anything about a seal and he should have put a new seal on when replacing the clutch You don't use old seals He never ordered a slave cylinder from *** *** because I called and checked on that and that's when they told me they don't order parts from Maryland as *** had told me and that is one of the reasons he kept my car and I needed a rental car *** *** was going to refund me the labor of $500, which *** should at least give me 1/back on that I still have problems with the clutch, so no it is not fixed

To Whom it may concern,We did install the clutch in [redacted]'s car.  [redacted] supplied the clutch that she purchased from [redacted] Auto Parts not [redacted] which we installed the clutch that day, didn't have a problem.  The following day it wasn't holding clutch pressure at the slave.  We...

thought it was the slave cylinder, we ordered another but it ended up being a seal on her original clutch hydrolic line which was replaced and bled out as for the vacuum line it was old and brittle it broke.  We fixed it.  Her hood cable was tucked under the dash when the car came in! and there are a number of businesses that only accept cash due to all the bad checks in circulation and the high cost and rental on credit card machines.We fixed the vacuum line that was brittle broke we picked up the car to save on a tow bill.  Drove it back to fix the o-ring on the slave.  We did what we were supposed to do to fix the car.  Just out of good measure, I will refund her $100.00 dollars.Above and Beyond[redacted]
