Hi ***...Commtrak bills hotels on behalf of our travel agency customers. We receive the agency's open records via data file transfer. When the agency books a hotel room for a traveler the standard compensation is a 10% commissionThe agency maintains a record of each transaction in
their back office data baseIn the case of BCD Travel, if the expected payment is not sent to the agency within days, the open record is forwarded to Commtrak. We then bill the hotel expecting either payment or a reason for non-payment. We accept any reasonable reason (the guest canceled, did not show up, etc.) It is not uncommon for travelers to change or cancel a reservation while traveling and never inform the booking agency. As such the record remains open on their booksI am sorry that Mr*** is unhappy, but all his staff has to do is contact us and inform us that the guest never stayed. My staff will gladly post off the item. As to his statement about not having a contract with BCD, the accepted standard in the industry is that an agency reservation automatically results in the commission payment. 95% of all hotels in North America do not require a special contract with any travel agency. BCD would only know of this specific requirement if Mr*** informed themWe have been in business for years and this is the only time we have received a complaint. To satisfy Mr***, I would be happy to remove his property from our billing list as of today's datePlease advise if this is a satisfactory resolutionRegards, *** *** ***

Revdex.com:
The company contacted me last work and I agreed to have them finish the job At that time he apologized and would schedule his crew to come out this week After that point he did not contact me all week while the whether has been great since 8/when we last spoke I contacted him today asking what the story was Now that since it has rained for an hour last night he is stating that he now won't be able to come out until next week because there is standing water where the dirt is I have asked for new contract with an expected completion date and he stated he will be in touch on Saturday morning and agreed to send an updated contract. So although I agree with the resolution this is not 100% resolved

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I need to remove my property from BCD agency.

Well as you know this spring we have had more rain than I can ever remember....seems like every other day my phone was giving me flood reports until a few weeks ago. This unfortunately has put us behind on any dirt and finish grading work. They are correct I haven't contacted them...

since our falling out on the 7th of June... but they have not contacted me either. On the 7th of June we ended our conversation hasty, and the last thing I told him was take the $1000.00 balance and have someone else finish the dirt work. In response to ( this company did poor work) this is absolutely a false statement! My crew did an excellent job on the tree removal...we removed approximately 30 to 50 trees ,that were close to the home . Almost each tree was 60 to 70 feet tall and had to be climbed. My estimate was to remove each tree and haul away the wood and grind the stumps...chips were to be left on site for homeowners use, and then we were going to grade the yard and bring in approximately 7 loads of topsoil ( which I explained to homeowner that we were about to start an 8 acre clearing project and after a few weeks of removing the trees we could then dig some really nice black topsoil for his yard out of the woods. This is where the disconnect started... at almost 3 weeks later he started calling me and asking me where the dirt was...I explained to him very nicely that the clearing was delayed do to permitting. He continued to call and several times I explained to him that I couldn't do anything until I had the trees cleared and could strip topsoil. A few weeks later we finally started clearing but then the rain started and delayed us further. I tried to appease him after he called me complaining ...so I sent a crew over when it dried out to grade his back yard...I have pictures of what it looked like when they left. this is where the real disconnect happened and I told him to find someone else to finish the job. When my crew showed up to do grading .. my foreman called me and said homeowner wanted the chips hauled off. I talked on the phone to homeowner and explained to him that this would cost more... he got very upset and started demanding that we hauled the chips off. This was not part of the contract and after a few minutes of him arguing with me in almost a loud yelling voice my anger took over and I yelled back and told him I was done with him and he could find someone else to finish job. Even though it was not part of our contract my foremen decided to try to make him happy and haul off all but one load of chips. So you can see this was a very frustrating situation for both of us...homeowner was very anxious to get his project finished and I understand that ....but with us waiting on permits to start clearing and weather delays this made it very frustrating for him, and I totally understand. As for me .. I was very frustrated from the demands to finish when my hands were tied. I feel like I explained the dirt situation very well to him before we started the job and the 3 weeks of clearing was just an estimate and that was after we started the job...so for him to call me at not even there weeks after we finished his tree work was pretty frustrating , but I tried to be understanding with him until he started demanding and yelling at me. My quote for the tree work alone was more than what we agreed on for everything originally. I worked for several neighbors on his street and that is why I decided to lower my price...but I explained to homeowner that the dirt alone for 7 loads of black topsoil would cost close to 4000. The only way I could do this was because I was stripping topsoil from this clearing project...otherwise I couldn't have done the dirt work for 1000.00 . I recently spoke to his wife and apologized for the last conversation that I had with her husband. I also told them I was more than willing to come finish the job in the next couple weeks with this topsoil from the clearing. However if they do not accept this offer soon we will have all equipment off of that project and I would not be able to finish project with that topsoil.
