On Fathers Day 120 degrees Austin from Above Par showed up and saved the day. He was professional, very knowledgeable, walked me through what the issues were. Above Par Heating and Air Conditioning LLC's name speaks for itself! My home warranty originally set me up with a company that wouldn't be able come work on my air conditioner until 4 days from today. Living in Arizona it is not possible to last that long. Above Par sent someone within not even 6 hours after I placed the call. I cannot stress out how happy I was with their promptness. The gentleman fixed my compressor within minutes! And my air conditioner is up and running again! If you are looking for an air conditioning company to meet your needs, this company is definitely "Above Par"!

Above Par has always done a fantastic job even when the warranty company does not want them to complete the repairs. We have since dumped the warranty company and now go only through Above Par. I use a home warranty company and had the pleasure of having Above Par Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC service my unit. The owner of the company Austin reached out to me so quickly I did not have time to schedule the appointment when he was first available. I managed to schedule an appointment during the day and they showed up early! The technician was very helpful and explained the process to me and went out of his way to get a needed part very quickly. When the A/C went down three days later, Austin went out of his way to come back out before he received authorization from my home warranty company approved a second visit. The issue of course was a different issue and Austin again explained everything to me. In fact he didn't wait for me to get home, he showed up and went up on the roof and fixed the problem. I can't wait to tell anyone who has an AC problem to call Austin at Above Par.

Fast service - was on site within a few hours and repaired my A/C with a part on the truck

I had the best experience with Above-Par. My AC went out few days ago and since I have home owner warranty, I gave old republic a call. They assigned me to a different company fisrt and when I was able to finaly get hold of them I was told they didn't have tall enough of a ladder to get on my roof! So I called old republic back and this time they assigned me to Above-Par! Shortley after I got off the phone with old republic I received a call from Above-Par! (I didn't even have to call them, they called me) They scheduled Austin to come and look at the AC the first thing in the morning! When he got here and looked at the AC, he explained exactly what was going on and what needed to be done! Then he called old republic right away to get authorization to order a new unit! Austin was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and also super nice! He was super patience with me since I had so many questions! Also the staff at the office were very nice and courteous! My overall experience with Above-Par was beyond amazing. I do highly recommend them.

[redacted] and [redacted] are fair and honest guys. They were prompt, informative, and fixed both my evap cooler and air conditioner. They fixed it in one trip and when they left I knew my cooling equipment was set for the season and everything looked great. Above Par will always be the company I call and will refer them to all my friends and family.

The HVAC units on the home were 26 year old Rheems. Of course the main unit went right at the beginning of summer. I had a home warranty and they sent out 2 other repair companies to my home. These other 2 companies mangled my units. The 3rd attempt through my warranty company was Above Par. [redacted] came out and tried to undo what the others had done. The unit was shot. [redacted] worked with me and my warranty company and installed a new Rheem HVAC unit on my home. Some additional custom work was needed around my air handler and [redacted] took care of that also. Later that same year, my secondary unit died. I requested Above Par through my warranty company again. [redacted] again came out and worked with me and the warranty company and installed another new Rheem HVAC unit. Now [redacted] and his team service both of my HVAC units twice a year. Like Austin, his team shares the same personable human values. What can I say about Austin? Honest, respectful, thorough, detail oriented, trustworthy, a friend. There are not many people out there that can say that the "clean up crew" from my home warranty company on my contract work became close friends of mine. I can say that. They were excellent, arrived on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. They had to order a part and returned today to complete the repair. I have two air conditioners on my house. The down stairs was blowing cool air but not cold air and could not keep the temperature set without running all of the time. I called my home warrant and thank the Lord they set [redacted] from Above Par Air Conditioning. I have live in Arizona and worked with a lot of Air Conditioning Companies and I can tell you that Above Par is the best one that I have worked with. [redacted] found the problem and fixed it quickly. I had to pay extra because the refrigerate was not covered. He explained it fully to me and told me that if it leaked again it was covered and he would take care of it. He gave me his cell phone number and said to call him and how to make sure it was not leaking. Well there was a pin hole leak that was so small the spray did not detect it. I called [redacted] and he again reassured me there would be no charge and the next day he fit me in his busy schedule and using a complex machine found the leak and fixed it and now the system blows ice cold air. I even offered to at least pay for his gas and he would not take a dime.

What I know about fixing an air conditioner could fit in a thimble and it was a blessing to finally find an honest expert with all the complex tools to do the job correctly. I would stand behind and fully recommend Above Par Air Conditioning.

We recently purchased a new home and the seller purchased a home warranty for us. Our Ac ran well, but was loud. I contacted the warranty company and they sent out "Above Par." The female that I spoke to during the initial scheduling wasn't friendly and after agreeing on a time, she forgot to schedule me. Their technicians were supposed to arrive around 8am, but instead came at about 7pm after I called to see where they were. The two technicians were very friendly. That was the only positive part about my interaction with this company. They changed the capacitor (while using his cell phone light as a flashlight), but the ac was still loud. The technician said the noise should go away after it was off for a while. He put a larger capacitor on and said the one that he removed was smaller than what should have been on it.

The next day when the ac turned on, it sounded the same. I called the warranty company again and within minutes of making that call I received a call from an angry male employee at "above par." It was very apparent he didn't want to return because they wouldn't receive another service charge. Without him ever personally looking at my ac, he told me the compressor was making the noise. He also told me that the warranty company wouldn't replace the compressor because the unit worked fine. I told him it worked fine in that it cools the house, but shouldn't sound like a jet landing in my neighborhood. He said he would call the warranty company and see if they would cover the cost of replacing the compressor due to the excessive noise.

I was contacted by the warranty company after they spoke to "Above Par." The "above par" employee had a very different conversation with the warranty company than he had with me. He told them my compressor needed to be replaced and said it as damaged by the wrong capacitor that was on there. He pretty much said what he needed to say to have my ac removed from my home warranty and then offered to do the work for me if I paid them $2400. The technicians took the original capacitor with them and disposed of it so I no longer had it to dispute his claim.

I requested that another ac company be sent to my house. That company did a much more thorough job and did actually determine it was the compressor making the noise. The capacitor wasn't what caused the compressor to malfunction, it was loud because it was nearly 15 years old. Since "above par" never actually looked at the compressor, they didn't know that. This ac company responded quickly and on trine, determined the problem and explained it, and fixed it through the warranty. They didn't even collect a service charge because it already went to "above par."

I have to say that this company is above and beyond great!! I had the worst week of my life in Glendale Az, I had 3 people come to our house to tell me that they fixed something on our air conditioner, needless to say they didn't, above- par was the last company to come to our house and the problem was fixed in about an hour, If anyone reads this call this company first. Don't mess around with someone else, call Above-Par now, you will not regret it

Have you ever been without air in the middle of a 110 degree day? I just went through it. Not fun! After my "normal" A/C company couldn't help until possibly Monday and we had been w/out air since sometime on Friday. I called Above Par on Sunday and within an hour [redacted] was at my door. I just happened to get lucky due to the abundance of calls they have been working. [redacted] was in and out in 20 minutes, my air is cool and working. My "normal" company had told me previously that I needed coolant, not so according to [redacted]. He told me what I should be at and showed me where I was at. All is good. Replaced a couple parts and she was running. I would recommend Above Par to anyone in need, [redacted] could have said I needed more done, how would I know. Extremely honest and extremely fair!!!!
