The client is intentionally trying to lie purely for the sake of making us look bad when in fact it she who is acting irresponsiblyWhat actually happened was we called her two days before the party to confirm the details and she asked us to change the time from 1-to 12-My assistant has it on the receiptShe is simply lyingWhy else would she have paid? Her parents knew she was wrongNow she is just rantingHowever her anger is misguidedShe should be angry at herself for trying to leave us hanging with an unpaid empty dateWe throw thousands of partiesIt says right on the receipt in bold print what the terms areAnd she had been here several times beforeThere is no excuse for her irresponsible rant here and we will not be slandered without responseThe question is this: Did she book the party? YesDid she confirm the party two days before? YesDid she show up on the date of the party? NoShould she have to pay for the event? YesEverything else is just a rant

I was unable to respond to the message sent by Revdex.com in regard to my complaint #[redacted]. Avery at ABQ Party Space continues with his story that he spoke to my granddaughter and changed the times, yada, yada, yada. No one contacted her, don't know who he spoke to but it wasn't her. When we cancelled the party we should have gotten it in writing but didn't. He even thanked me for cancelling early so he would be able to book another party. He said May was his busy time. We didn't expect to hear anymore about it, three of us had spoken with him about cancelling. The day of the party he calls my granddaughter and proceeds to tell her he wants payment for not cancelling and he was in the office when she called about changing the time. He threatened to take her to court and then proceeded to call her several times and harass her about payment. Her mother called to resolve the issue and he proceeded to be rude and yelled at her too. Her dad went in to pay him, not because we were wrong, but just to shut him up and keep him from harassing my granddaughter. She was upset and in tears at her daughter's first birthday. I resent being called a liar and don't want him to harass my granddaughter or my family ever again. Since when is it ok for an family entertainment business to be aggressive and rude to a customer? If you look at their Facebook page you'll see we aren't the only ones complaining. By the way, we had been a repeat customer, 3 previous parties, this one couldn't happen there because my granddaughter couldn't afford a big party due to being laid off. We had to cancel, ended up paying anyway.  : (

This individual is simply lying with the express intention of getting money she is not entitled to. On January 21st 2016 she booked a party. She put down $80. The party date was May 15th 2016. The documents showing the deposit and the terms are attached.Several days before the party we called her to...

confirm how many tables she wanted to be set up. She requested that the party be moved from 1 to 4 to 12 to 3 and to be able to start her decorating earlier as a convenience. We noted this on the document as we do with every request. On May 15th the client did not show up by 10 am and we assumed she was running late. By 11:45 - 12 noon we were concerned that something may have happened. We phoned the client and her response was that she had cancelled the party. After several phone calls between her and her mom they obviously concluded that we had caught them in a bold faced lie. Within one hour the father came in and paid the daughter's bill. Why the daughter has complained to the Revdex.com is something that I don't really understand because the facts are cut and dried. Please see attached photos/copies. Should you have any further questions regarding this matter please do not hesitate to write back.

I am rejecting this response because: Enough is enough. Fact: Abq Party Space received their money. Fact: The only slanderous rant is from the business owner Avery. Fact: The business has a 2 star rating, the company website and Facebook pages are riddled with plenty of complaints. I want to be done with this, do not want to hear anymore about this, do not want my family or myself to be harassed by this person. End of story.
