Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I don't trust Abraham L** to repair my elegant off-white full length wool coat with fox fur trimmed cuffs He had more than enough time to have had it repaired I appreciate him offering to have repairs done by a professional furrier I will accept $for repair and replacement for the damage he has caused to the coat, plus $I paid him in advance on December 28, The total is $to paid to me, and not in store credit
Because I never received a response from Abraham Lee to resolve the matter, I wrote to Revdex.com my complaint Revdex.com told me on the phone that they had not heard from Abraham L** Revdex.com closed my complaint , and sent me an e-mail on 3-22-concerning that fact I consulted an attorney and sent Abraham L*** Registered Agent a letter concerning all that I have claimed I contacted a furrier who will repair and replace the damage Abraham L** has caused On 3-24-Revdex.com sent me an e-mail that they had a response to my complaint from Abraham L**
On February 15, 19, 22, & 25, I received non-professional behavior from Abraham L** Abraham L** damaged my fox fur trimmed cuffs on my off-white wool coat The fox fur needs to be replaced Each day I came back, my coat was not the coat I had brought it in on my first drop off in December, My coat was not wearable during the winter months While waiting for my coat to be repaired, I wrote a letter to Abraham L** to resolve my complaint with compensation I took the letter with me in case he would tell me the coat wasn't ready, again When I arrived on 2-25-16, Abraham L** brought me my coat, and it appeared to be fixed At that time, there was no reason to present my letter Before I took my coat, I asked him to take off the plastic and let me try on the coat When I tried the coat on, the fox fur had a big bald spot, and pins and cardboard were in both sleeves I took pictures of the damages, and asked for my coat to be wrapped in plastic I tried to talk to him about what he was going to do about the damages He only indicated to me that he wanted me to leave my coat with him, again I tried again to talk to him about compensation for the damages he tried to cover up Since he would not talk to me, I gave him the letter He threw the letter in a box, and refused to even read it while I was there He also said he would give me credit for cleaning
I picked up my coat with fox fur-trim on the sleeves in January, In February, 2016, I tried to put my left hand through my coat sleeve to wear the coat, and could not The wool coat sleeve was all twisted and out of shape Abraham L** had sewn the wool coat sleeve smaller around the cuff to make the shrunken fox fur go around the cuff I could see the fox fur had been damaged I took the coat back to Abraham L** on 2-15-16, to show him that he had shrunken my fox fur, and how he had tried to hide the shrinkage by making the opening of my sleeve, at the cuff, smaller I never complained that the width of one sleeve shrunk. My complaint was that my fox fur had been shrunken He had damaged my fox fur, and he simply said he would fix it He never offered any verbal words to me that he would expand my wool sleeve He had examined my coat when I brought it in to him, on December 28, Because he said he would fix the fur, I left my coat there He told me to come pick up my coat on 2-19-16, 2-22-16, and 2-25- I gave him a chance to do the right thing
On December 28, 2015, Abraham L** examined my coat himself My coat was in good condition, and barely needed cleaning If my elegant coat was over years old, and heavily soiled, and had permanently settled stains in the lining, and the fur looked fragile, the well-informed, Abraham L**, would have, and could have refused to take the coat into his care He did not refuse my coat because he saw that my coat was in excellent condition, and he knew that I had taken excellent care of my coat Abraham L** accepted my coat without hesitation Abraham L** had assured me that he has been in business over years, and that he knew garments, fashion trends and designs, and methods for cleaning clothing I paid for the cleaning in advance, and I left the coat with him that day His receipt said to pick up my coat on 1-12-
In early December, 2015, I spoke in length and detail with Abraham L** about whether he was able to clean my elegant coat I was concerned about his care of my expensive garment I even asked him if he should detach my fur from my wool coat sleeve before he cleaned the coat Again, he assured me that he knew what he was doing because he had experience.
Sincerely,
