Review: I contacted Abrahamson Services for a roof repair/recovering. He stated that he would be able to repair the sagging spots in my roof, re shingle my roof, take down the damaged chimney to the decking (boards that the roof shingles are attached to). and reattach gutter hangers to roof so my gutters don't sag.

Upon completion of the work I noticed that spots of my roof where still sagging ( the sagging sections of the roof where never repaired), My chimney that was used as a vent for a water heater was taken down past the roof decking, and the exhaust vent for the chimney was covered so now the exhaust fumes from the water heater are now venting into my house. which is extremely dangerous as I am now being forced to breath exhaust fumes in my home. Upon closer inspection, he did not cut roofing shingles to length to fit the gutters, and instead just bent the shingles into the gutters possibly blocking water from leaving the gutters. The shingles are still not flat on the roof and still bunched up in areas making me question if the shingles are attached properly or if they will fall off.

I paid a little over $4100 for a down payment for the work and there is a renaming balance due per the contract. When I informed him that payment would be late due to damages, he became irate and threatened to enforce a lien against my property to prevent the sale of my house.

(taken off of contract header)Desired Settlement: I believe that Mr [redacted] has damaged my home more than he repaired it, I would like him to pay for the repairs to the chimney, and the repairs to the roof as stated per the contract. I due to his behavior of entering my residence wthout permission and the substandard nature of his work, I am unwilling to have him come back and repair the damage that he has caused and that I will need to find another contractor to repair my roof. If repairs cannot be paid for, I would like to have my down payment returned due to the poor nature of the work.
