Absolut Restoration came into our home and packed all of our belongings and stored about 75% of our homeThe other 25% we took with us and stored in our own personal storageIn search of items that were needed out of the items we took with us we discovered how carelessly our items were packed which resulted in broken or damage to our itemsWe Spoke with the owner Misti and she assured us we would be compensated for the damageWe moved into our new residence on January 9,We had furniture and other personal items damaged due to the mishandling or poor packing by AbsolutThe personal items that were broken and damaged we were told that we would get a price break down for replacement to be paid by AbsolutAbsolut Misti threw out a number of $for all items that were damaged and we told her before we would except that amount or any amount that we needed to have a break down of all the items to ensure we were fairly be compensated for all items that were damaged or missing as

The offer to accept the $450.00 for damaged items was verbal on the telephone not by text. The 2 missing items are priced at todays price and that backup was sent. We aren't going to pay more than the actual cost. There was no promise of a list and seemed a waste of time because of the agreed price but will send a list to the [redacted] for their satisfaction. There were notes and photos taken of the concerns on the dresser but that piece is not something the repair company touched. Unfortunately. we as homeowners don't always notice certain things about our furniture that have always been that way, but when it is handled by somebody else or put in different lighting, it can appear to be different. We have photos of the items prior to removing and the dresser in question was not repaired by us. Absolut is trying to deliver items that belong to the [redacted] that have been repaired. Absolut is not delivering broken items. The furniture is available to view at the Absolut warehouse by appointment before scheduling the return.

I believe by the text messages that we have it shows that we never accepted your offer for our damaged and missing items. We always had full expectations of receiving a written break down as promised from the beginning. Absolut did damage our dresser top. Misti not only made notes on February 3 but also took photos. Absolut has tried to schedule delivery of broken furniture. We are not accepting a repaired chair. We did not break it Absolut did. We have plenty of photos that document the damaged items minus the items that your company took on January 9,2016.

In regards to ID # [redacted], there is no written contract in this matter. There was a verbal agreement to be paid in 30 days, in which case we would honor a 10% discount. The person filing this complaint received out monies owed to us from the homeowner for services we rendered and spent the money....

It took weeks and months to get a response from this person to pay us. We were finally paid and owe no such fees to this person or company.

Absolut met with the insureds when they moved into their new residence to view the items they had concerns with. Photos and some notes were taking at that time of those items. Absolut made an offer of $450.00 for the items of concern. The insureds accepted that offer. There was no list to send...

due to the accepted offer. Absolut did damage a chair in the moving process and it is ready for return. Absolut did have an issue with a support piece that caused damage to a bed rail. Those parts are being ordered through Furniture Solutions. Absolut did not damage a dresser and repair without knowledge. Communication has never stopped with the insureds. We did ask to communicate by email, not by phone or text so there was no missed calls or misunderstandings. We have been sending emails to the insured since the third week of June to setup delivery of the table and chairs and to rectify the check. We get 1 or 2 responses back with no dates or times to meet. We have the trail of emails to prove that we are waiting for the insured to set this date and time to close out their file.  
Settlement : We do not agree to pay additional money above the $678.00 already issued. The table and chairs are repaired and ready for return. We are waiting on the insured to give some days and times that work for them.

In my opinion and experience, this A+ rating is an absolut joke. They lied to me, stole from me, restored the wrong items, didn't listen, didn't want to listen, broke items, threw away items that were good, broke furniture, lost items, begged for items, sent no one out one day that spoke my language, failed to do things that led to injuries to my back and tearing of a muscle in my leg, had an abusive owner, had an abusive and lying manager. In my opinion, I would just as soon do all the work myself rather than do business with these lying thieves, again.

Review: The owner promised me a 10% Referral fee for sending and/or giving them work. When the work was finished and they had been paid in full, they did not honor their agreement and "stiffed" me my earned compensation.Desired Settlement: I am owed $2,300.00 for the referral I gave them. They should honor their commitment and pay for the job I sent them.
