Yea tShort Story: I got overcharged by [redacted] and [redacted] and was convinced that charging quite a bit was the way they did business, so I called [redacted] at Absolute comfort and he gave me a great price and had it fixed about 3 hours after I initially called them! But, just as important as a the great price was the thought that I could trust them not to screw me over because it was summer in AZ and I was at their mercy with my A/C not working. I also really liked the fact that they are a family business right here in Maricopa. Long Story: I had a failed capacitor in early June on my condenser unit, and it was already quite hot, so I had to get it fixed fast. I called [redacted] and [redacted] and they came out that day and fixed it, but charged me $300. Since it was hot as hell out, I paid being happy it was only $300 because I know it can be much more expensive with A/C problems. After it was fixed I did a bit of research and realized I got overcharged by quite a bit. So, in mid July the condenser unit had a problem again. It didn't seem like the capacitor this time because electricity was getting to the fan (it was making a noise) but the fan wasn't moving. So, I figured it was the fan motor and in June the [redacted] and [redacted] tech had told me that I should be glad it wasn't the motor because that can run over $600. So, this time I knew it was going to be expensive, but I also was able to do a bit of research and determined that [redacted] and [redacted] price was quite high and I knew they had me at their mercy again because it was mid-july in AZ. But, I had saved a newspaper clipping from the Maricopa Monitor newspaper for Absolute Comfort and called them. [redacted] said a replacement fan motor was $325, which included installation. So, they were at my house about 45 minutes after the call and tested to make sure it was the fan motor, and it was. They had it replaced an hour later and it only cost me $325. So, I got it fixed faster and saved about $300 by using Absolute Air Comfort. Will definitely use them every time going forward.
When we moved to Maricopa in 2010, our A/C went out. Didn’t know who to call, so we contacted a big HVAC company out of Chandler. They sent out technicians that were apprentices and didn’t know what they were doing, and it took them 2 days and bucko bucks to figure out what was wrong. Going forward, upon recommendation from a friend, we have had [redacted] with Absolute Air perform all our service needs, and just recently had him install a new heat pump. [redacted] knows his stuff and is very fairly priced. He won’t rip you off like the big box companies. If you live in Maricopa, this is the AC company for you. Quick to respond, no matter what day you call, and so reasonably priced.
We have been using Absolute Air Comfort for several years for our rental and investment properties in Maricopa and Pinal County. They have always been prompt, professional, and honest with us. The pricing is very fair and they stand by their work. I would recommend!
