Absolute Automotive

I had purchased my wife's tire and rim protection from Absolute automotive while at j***. This summer my wife needed her tires and rims replace when we call *** to find out the policy number we were notified that they had shut down. We had to pay out of pocket at the moment while we searched for the policy number. When we finally obtained a copy from a new *** dealership that opened in the old locations place, we filed for reimbursement. Absolute denied us stating we no longer qualify because it was longer than allotted time to file. I tried explaining to them that we didn't know the policy number nor had a copy of the contract to be able to file but they wouldn't listen to us and eventually became rude and told us to next time call them first for an approval before getting any repairs. We tried multiple times to explain to them the situation and that we didn't have their information to file for an approval and that my wife needed her car since we live alone and because I work, she would have been stuck. We are both senior citizens, if something happen or there is an emergency my wife would be trapped in the house unable to do anything. They were very unreasonable and rude.
