Review: Absolute Cleaners picked up my Hugo Boss padding jacket last week and dry-cleaned. It is worth over $800, but they left a couple of iron marks. It is vinyl and glare fabric, and I don't understand how come they did iron/steam on the vinyl fabric. Basically, the fabric is melted and burned, and there is no way they can fix. The worst part is whoever did iron/steam on my jacket must know what they did wrong. But, they never told the issue to their customer and just put cover and sent back. Also, they didn't forget to charge the cleaning fee on my credit card. I have contacted the store and spoke to the [redacted], but he never admits his mistake and blames that my jacket has material defects. He told me he would contact National Cleaners Association and send my jacket and analyze the fabric, then contact Hugo Boss and find out if it has any material defects. Why should I go through this process? I just wanted my clean jacket back, and I don't even know how long this process will take. Furthermore, it is unclear how this is going to be solved. First of all, Absolute Cleaners sends my jacket to National Cleaners Association, and they analyze the fabric, then they will send the result to Hugo Boss, and Hugo Boss will review and check their inventory and find the same jacket and test if it has material defects? After all this process, Hugo Boss will contact the cleaning store again and let them know my jacket has material defects or it is their cleaning problem? What if the jacket has material defects? Hugo Boss will refund the money? The bottom line is Absolute Cleaners provided the cleaning service and messed up. Absolute Cleaners should compensate me for the loss. Even if the jacket has material defects, it is their problem and they need to take care of between them.Desired Settlement: I can't find the same jacket in Hugo Boss store, but similar style is $700 to $900. I want money back worth the amounts, also refund the cleaning fee on my credit card.
