As customer notes, the loose board and stairs were repaired however they are still waiting for trim to be replaced and LED light to be repaired or replaced.
I was initially notified of the loose board and missing screws on 29 Nov 2013 and again notified on 29 Dec 2013. The original email was missed and upon receipt of the second email, I responded same day, acknowledging her requests to repair the issues, aforementioned. I also stated that I would notify her when the repairs would be scheduled. Due to the harsh weather of the winter, I suggested that the repairs be completed in the spring, so that I can also inspect the deck for any other issues. On 26 Mar 2014, the customer was contacted via email, in order to keep the lines of communication open, so that they knew they were not forgotten and that I would schedule their repair as soon as weather would allow. I also thanked them for their patience. Up until that time, there was no mention of a deck light that was not in working order.
On 07 May 2014, repairs to loose board and steps were completed. The trim was incomplete for the necessary part was not available and this would be a follow-up repair. Mr. Ofeldt provided a ‘punch list’, which did not mention the request to replace or repair the decklight. Based on that last meeting, I was under the impression that everything was completed, except for the one cap for railing screws. Customer also requested information on material (manufacturer information) so that they may purchase additional or replacement spare parts if needed, this information was provided to customer.
On 11 Jun 2014, in response to the Revdex.com complaint, I contacted the customer to address her concerns and requested when it would be convenient to install the screw cap and check the deck light and replace if needed. Review: We had a deck built by Absolute Decks and Basements last summer. Within a few months, a board on the stairs came loose. Upon close inspection we noted stairs that were missing screws. Some of the plastic trim pieces came loose and were blown away by the wind. When I turned on the deck lights, one of the LED decklights doesn't work. We initially notified the owner of these issues in November 2013. The loose board and stairs were finally repaired 2 weeks ago but we are still waiting for the trim to be replaced and the LED decklight to be repaired or replaced. We have been extremely patient, but I fear he is waiting until it is more than a year so he can say it is too late.Desired Settlement: Repair or replacement of LED light and replacement of trim pieces on deck railing.

It was also noted that plastic trim was blown away by the wind and one of the LED decklight was not working. On 11 Jun 2014, in response to the Revdex.com complaint, I contacted the customer to address her concerns and requested when it would be convenient to install the screw cap and check the deck light and replace if needed.
