We were burglarized last fall and the detective that investigated our case said that the license plate readers at the entrance weren't able to read the plates We live in a Taylor Morrison property and have found this builder not to take any blame from a leaky roof to grass being cut too short and burning upI have attached a response from one of TM representatives about the license plate readersIn summary if you are moving though the entrance it doesn't workIf you stop it gets a photoHow funny is that!!! After our burglary we were never offered a positive resolution about keeping the neighborhood safe The only resolution in TM's eyes was buy an alarm and insure your jewelry

I have spoken with Jeff about the camera issuesThe main problem as he was watching live yesterday was with the gates open, cars go through there so quickly that it is difficult to get a clear picture of the platesIf they have to stop at the gate, they get a better and clearer pictureHe is looking into other options with camera
