Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business did not respond to my concerns.  It is ridiculous that they accuse me of being a competitor.  I was a customer to their event that they flagrantly messed up.  If you look at the yelp reviews for the event you will get over 50 negative reviews for this one event.  The business is not owning up nor taking responsibility for their miserable event that they ripped everyone off on and instead trying to deflect blame and accuse me of being a competitor.  The facts are clear, the vendors ran out of food at the event, the lines were long at each of the booths, and everyone was angry that only about 15 vendors were at the event.  I want my money back as well as monetary damages or I will file a lawsuit for defamation because I was a customer to their event that they flagrantly ripped everyone off on.

Review: Absolute Event Solutions falsely and maliciously misrepresented their Big Bite Bacon Festival at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on August 2, 2014. Absolute Event Solutions intentionally misrepresented that there would be enough food for each attendee to indulge themselves, however it those claims that there would be enough food was intentionally false. Absolute Event Solutions knowingly misrepresented the quality of their event in all their advertisements. I had to wait in line for hours while vendors ran out of food within the first hour of the event and I did not get any food to eat. I had to go out and buy food from outside of the event.Desired Settlement: I am seeking monetary damages in the amount of $500 in a certified check or money order in lieu of a lawsuit for false misrepresentations and for expenses that I suffered while attending the Big Bite Bacon Fest.

Review: Absolute Event Solutions intentionally and knowingly falsely misrepresented their Big Bite Bacon Festival event at the Queen Mary in Long Beach on August 2, 2014. Absolute Event Solutions falsely claimed in their advertising materials that all the attendees who attended their Big Bite Bacon Festival was going to be able to "indulge themselves with food." Absolute Event Solutions falsely misrepresented the amount of vendors that were going to be at the event and the amount of food that was going to be provided at the event. I was unable to get any food at the event because the majority of the vendors ran out of food within the first hour. I suffered damages as a result of Absolute Event Solutions as a result of their false misrepresentations of the Big Bite Bacon Festival. I purchased two tickets to the event for $45 each ticket and had to go outside to purchase food because no food was available at the Big Bite Bacon Festival. I suffered damages as a result of Absolute Event Solutions false misrepresentations. I am seeking monetary damages in the amount of $750 in a certified check or money order in lieu of filing a lawsuit for false misrepresentations of the Big Bite Bacon Fest.Desired Settlement: I am seeking monetary damages in the amount of $750 for Absolute Event Solutions intentional and knowingly false misrepresentations in lieu of filing a lawsuit for false misrepresentation of material facts.

Dear

In talking with your office on August 12, 2014 in regards to Revdex.com Complaint ID:

[redacted], it was recommended to address this complaint received by using bullets points as done

below. Big Bite Events also believes this complaint is motivated to harm the Big Bite Bacon Fest by

potentially producers of another competing and like event. There is also no record of the party

contacting the organizers of the Big Bite Bacon Fest with their concerns or request for refund of

their tickets.

Below are the responses to the "Customer's Statement of the Problem" from complaint ID:

[redacted]:

• Absolute Event Solutions did not intentionally falsely misrepresent the 1st annual Big Bite

Bacon Fest that took place at the Queen Mary on August 2, 2014.

• Absolute Event Solutions represented that 40 food items and 40 beers would be available at

the event, at the start of the event 43 food items and 42 beers were available.

• Some of the most popular food vendors at the event did run out of samples of food before

the end of the event. Other vendors had samples of food past the end of the event.

• As all of the vendors at the festival were preparing food fresh, the most popular vendors

experienced long lines as it took time to serve all of the event goers fresh samples of

bacon and pork infused items.

• Organizers extended the event for guests to sample food 30 minutes past the scheduled end

time of the event.

• Unfortunately before the festival began, approximately 5 of the vendors planned to serve

samples were not able to operate when the event started because of permitting issues but

were able to get those issues resolved and did serve during the event.

• Festival organizers are addressing all public concerns directly and individually, they request

that any complaints be directed to [email protected]. An event representative will

personally respond to your inquiry via phone and/or email to address challenges, issue

refunds on a case-by-case basis, and hear feedback to improve upon each individual's

festival experience for future events.

Please don't hesitate to contact our office with any further questions.

Thanks
