After speaking with your server I am told that she explained to you that we have several different options for chickenThe thigh meal being just one of our “cheaper” optionsTypically something for those that want a chopped smoked meat for a salad or sandwich, don’t want pork, but want the cost to be in line with our pulled porkWe also offer a bone in breast that is smoked,boneless grilled breasts all white meat tenders, smoked wings and on the weekend of your visit we were even offering an alone breast of [redacted] Farm chicken which is antibiotic and hormone free and the only national producer with a seal of approval from the Humane SocietyWe also offer high choice and cut angus beef products our burgers are extra lean and pattied by hand in house and never frozenWe work with local (like miles away local)producers whenever possible and have offered local free range chicken when availableOur sausages are shipped to us from a small producer in LouisiannaWhen your server saw that you had not eaten much of your meal she offered to replace it with another and you declinedPerhaps if you had given any of our other chicken offerings a try you would have found one to our liking just as plenty of people enjoy our chopped smoked chickenIt can on occasion have some rather large chunks of fat and I have spoken with the kitchen about attempting to remove some of these larger fat deposits during the cutting process however the fat in thigh meat with what makes it more moist and absorb the smoke flavor than better than breast meatThis is why we keep our smoked breast meat on the bone so that the flavor and moisture of the bone are present during the smoking procedure I do not take exception to your dislike of a particular menu item or even your assertion that it was the worst bbq chicken in the state, that is your opinion and you are welcome to it but the file of your post is misleadingIt leads other future guests to assume that rather than you choosing to order the meat which you did not like and refusing our offer to find you something more to your taste that simply “cheap meat” is all we offer which is far from the truthHopefully if you visit us again in the future you will try another of our many varied menu options and will have caught us on a less busy day when things are tidier in additionI would ask you to please bare with us we are always remodeling renovating and redesigning what we can and making do with what we can’t so hopefully on your next visit you will find our atmosphere more to your liking

I have no reason to accept this, it's the same exact statements he put on tripadvisorIt appears he copy and pasted.
I didn't put WHEN we ate at his restaurant, or who our server was on the complaint on tripadvisor It's doubtful he knows who the waitress even was.
We were certainly never offered anything elseWe were told by the waitress that she liked chicken breasts when we told her we didn't like the food (AFTER WE HAD PAID)She said "Sorry" and walked away
We went and ate at another restaurant after we paid $20+ dollars to eat a bite of meat, and part of a side and some friesThe food we were served had gristle, chunks of chicken fat and was disgustingThere is nothing on his menu saying there are other chicken choices, just lists pork, ribs and chicken.
Needless to say if he offered another meal then, why wouldn't we take it, we were certainly still hungryAnd if he was willing then why isn't he offering now? Not that we would ever go there againThis is certainly NOT an attempt to solve the problem and shouldn't be listed as it was by the Revdex.com
