I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint
In my job I don't quote someone a price and then ask for more money after I have begun the work but not finishedI will not pay this company anymore money to complete this work and will find a reputable place to complete their unfinished workI only hope that my complaint will keep unsuspecting people away from this company in the future
None of the damage done was from any tile work that was doneWhen Dennis came out to examine the incomplete work he looked for a total of seconds before he decided it was supposedly caused by damage we didI still have no idea what their "warranty" covers as I was never sent one and now believe it to be as fictitious as their work

We refinished MrE*** bath tub on November not November 21st as he stated in hes complaintWhen my technician Dennis arrived at hes house he noticed that het walls surrounding the bath tub were not covered and all you could see was the 2xframesAt that point Dennis advised Mr
E*** that whenever they put tile on those walls that they were going to damage the tub MrE***'s respond was that they will be careful when they do itDennis went ahead and proceeded with the refinishing of MrE*** bath tubWhen Dennis was done he showed MrE*** the finished bath tub he was happy and told Dennis that it looked good and paid with a credit cardWe did not hear from MrE*** until December well over a month from the day we performed the work When he called hes complaint was that the bath tub had chipped on its own and that the refinish was coming off I scheduled Dennis to go look at the bath tub the next day December the 29th MrE*** was not able to be there so he met with hes wifeOnce Dennis arrived and looked at the bath tub he determined that the tub had been damaged due to neglect and the roughness MrE*** is talking was grout residue from the grout that was used to do the tile walls surrounding the tub.MrsE*** mentioned to Dennis that they had someone working there and he also remembered that there was no tile there before.Dennis contacted me Luis and explained to me what he saw I then called MrE*** and asked him if someone had done any work on the tub area he stated that yes the tile walls had recently been doneI asked him who did it and hes said it was him but that he was very careful and put plastic on the tub to avoid from damaging itThe chips on the tub are from heavy sharp objects falling on it there are also parts where the tub has been scraped putting the tile walls is not an easy task and takes time but it also takes allot of moving around in the tub with pieces of tile and tools that can fall and damage itPlastic is not enough to absorb the impact of falling objects and even someone working in it the tub wearing shoesI offered to have Dennis redo hes tub for $because that type of damage is not covered under our warranty but he refused,I don't feel we owe him hes money back or that we need to go back and redo it at no costDennis clearly warned him not to do the tub until some other time after they finished with the tile walls but MrE*** was adamant about doing it that dayWe stand behind our year warranty and are happy to give it whenever its rightfully needed which in this case it was notI'm willing to go redo the bath tub for $but this complaint would have to be removedAs for our website its still up and has not been down or off for any reason we do not scam our customers and been in business for years and plan to be in business for many more

The work was complete the day the technician did the work and the current sourced it and paid. He chose to ignore my technicians suggestion to refinish the tub tool after the tile was done even though he was clearly warned of what could happen. The customer did the tile himself and I know this because he Told me now I don't know if he does tile for a living but if he did he would have known to do the tile first then the tub. I still will not refund the money he paid for the damage he did.
