I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.In regards to Carlise Bridal's response, my initials are next to a size but that size was suggested based off of incorrect measurements (written on the right side of their previous email and attachment), measurements that they did not show meI was told to initial the size because it lines up with the measurements written on the right side of the paper, which I now know were either written down incorrectly or taken incorrectlyAttached are my actual measurementsAt no point was I permitted to view the tape measure while around my hips, bust, etcto verify the accuracy of the measurementsIt was the seamstress's responsibility to take the measurements correctlyShe was represented to me as a qualified seamstress and now it appears that she was notI should have been able to trust that Carlise Bridal, as a reputable bridal store, would have qualified employees that would not make such large mistakesAs myself and other members of the bridal party who purchased the size suggested by Carlise Bridal's seamstress based on incorrect measurements are now going to have to spend hundreds of dollars on alterations that we would not have needed if our measurements had been correct, I believe that some sort of compensation is justifiable (exchange, reimbursement for alterations, etc.)It is poor business to make this large of a mistake for multiple people and to not take responsibility for the mistake, fix the mistake or even apologize

Dear Revdex.com,This letter is in response to second letter for complaint ID ***, the customer is right we do verbally say the measurments outloud so if the customer feels one or all of the measurments are off they can respond at that timeHer initials are not by the measurments they are by the size she chose again copy of size chart enclosedWe have to have an initial by the size to order, and in the other agreement she signed it states she chose the size.We can not exchange this dress for another ,the manufacters do not have dresses hanging they are special ordered for each customer in the style, size, and color that they orderHannah’s dress came in the right size, color, and style that was ordered.Regards,Janice W***Manager Carlisle's Bridal

Dear Revdex.com:This letter is in response to complaint ID ***, the customer came into our store and purchased a bridesmaid dress on January 13, At that time she tried on a sample gown style # the sample size is a We measured the customer and write her measurments on a size chart from
the company for their bridesmaids dressesWe show them where their measurements fit and check how dress fits with the sample.We suggest a size but do not select a size for her, we make the customer verify with their intials what size they want to order.Copy of her size chart enclosed, also note the sample was only 1/2" larger then the size she ordered, so the customer knew how big the dress was going to be on the top,but could have picked whatever size she wantedWe then go over the contract stating they only need 1/down to order, no cancellations or exchanges, size they want and alterations are available but do not have to be done hereThe customer signed her contract copy enclosedCustomer then came into the store to try on and pick up the dress on April 21,at that time she signed an acceptance agreement, copy enclosedWe received a phone call from said customer on June 7,stating we ordered her a dress way to big, now it has been months since she was first measured, I did say maybe she lost weight, I also offered for her to bring the dress back into the store and we could tell her how we would alter the dress, I at no time told her she had to get the alterations done hereI feel her complaint is without reason since she picked the size and picked the dress up over a month before any complaint was brought up.Regards,Janice W***Manager Carlisle's Bridal***Please see attached for additional documentation provided:? invoice, size chart and purchase contract***

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When I put my initials next to the measurements the seamstress took at Carlise's Bridal, I was told to sign off on the measurements that were circled to note that they matched what was on the right side of the paperI was not able to review them against the tape measure as they were only verbally communicated to me and written on the chart provided and the reasonable assumption that the seamstress knew how to take measurements correctlySee attached for my true measurements (taken as of 6/7/- to note I have not gained or lost any weight in the past years)If the seamstress had taken my measurements correctly, I would not have initialed the sheetI was never told that I had the option of ordering a different dress sizeAfter stating in disgust that I had an "odd" body, the seamstress informed me that the only option I possibly had was to order a size and there was nothing under a size for me to try on.It did take a month for me to get an appointment with a skilled seamstress from picking up the dress which is not an unreasonable amount of time to find a weekend appointment with a seamstressSince having this issue, another bridesmaid who was measured and purchased a dress on the same date as myself has also taken her dress to a seamstress outside of Carlise's Bridal and has discovered that her measurements were also incorrect and that Carlise's Bridal told her to order a dress that was also three size too bigThis does not seem to be a coincidence but rather, a bad sales technique.I reject the response from Carlise's Bridal, as this is not an unfounded claim since my measurements were incorrectly takenI am simply asking for an exchange for a more reasonable sized dress, not a refund
