To Whom It May Concern,   Mr. [redacted] accompanied his mother in the purchase of an [redacted] 2005, that she was buying for him to enjoy. We instructed Mr. [redacted] that since we are a Virginia dealership, that we get all of our cars safety inspected in the State of Virginia. We also go one...

step further and get all of our vehicles EMISSONED as well, so our customers don’t have to worry about the vehicle passing Emissions. I instructed Mr. [redacted] that in order to register his car in the state of Maryland, he has to get his vehicle Safety Inspected by a Maryland Inspector BEFORE he goes to the Maryland DMV also known as MVA.   Mr. [redacted] calls Absolute Motors from the MVA office confused and frustrated with the customer service he was receiving from the DMV/MVA.  I then explain to him, AGAIN, that he needs to get his car Safety Inspected in the State of Maryland before he registers his car in Maryland. A few days later, Mr. [redacted] calls Absolute Motors and notifies us that the vehicle passed Maryland Inspection and says a head lamp had to be replaced, which he states was no big problem since all of the headlights were working when he purchased the vehicle, and asks for directions on how to get the vehicle registered, again. I told Mr. [redacted] he will need to take his Inspection Report, alongside his Title of the Vehicle alongside his other documents relating to the purchase of the vehicle to the MVA with him. Mr. [redacted] gives another call from the MVA a few days later and says that the Title of the [redacted] was missing a digit and that we need a duplicate title. Mr. [redacted] shares his frustration at me and curses at me because he was frustrated with the MVA. I THEN EXPLAIN TO MR. [redacted], US AS DEALERS DO NOT CREATE TITLES. THE DMV/MVA ARE THE ONES WHO PRODUCE TITLES. IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM, WAS ABSOLUTE MOTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ERROR IN THE TITLE. I ALSO TOLD MR. [redacted] THAT I WILL CONTACT THE DMV TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER PROMPTLY. AS SOON AS THE DMV SENT THE DUPLICATE TITLE, I CALLED MR. [redacted] AND NOTIFIED HIM. I ALSO TOLD MR. [redacted] THAT ABSOLUTE MOTORS WILL GLADLY FILL UP HIS GAS TANK FOR THE INCONVENIENCE HE RECEIVED AT THE MVA AND BUY HIM BREAKFAST, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT ABSOLUTE MOTORS’ FAULT. I HAVE ATTACHED A RECEIPT AS WELL ON 9/16/2017 OF THE GAS PURCHASE. I AM HONESTLY QUITE SHOCKED AT THIS COMPLAINT, MR. [redacted] IS JUST MISUNDERSTANDING THAT DEALERSHIPS DO NOT PRODUCE TITLES. MR. [redacted] ALSO STOPPED ANSWERING OUR PHONE CALLS TO REACH HIM ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT, BECAUSE IM ASSUMING HE TITLED AND REGISTERED THE VEHICLE AND RECEIVED HIS FREE GAS AND BREAKFAST.
