I am rejecting this response because:
The company did not deliver the services it promisedYes, they worked hard, but it was all their own doingThey tried to complete a day job in days and that caused unnecessary work, disarray, forgotten items and items that were not supposed to be packed, packedI personally had to pack most of the closets, of the bedrooms, the bar and the entire basement, sans the closetThis was not the agreementI am still sorting out boxes that were mislabeled, mistakenly placed in incorrect rooms and some broken itemsIn addition, I do not agree with any of ***'s statements about what was discussed when he assessed the house contentsI was very clear and very specific in what I neededAgain, I have emails stating that all was included in the original quoteA quote is not an estimateIt is a quote and should be honoredI request some monetary refund in exchange for the inconvenience, time and unnecessary burden this company caused me.

Thank you very much for allowing me with the opportunity to respond to Ms ***s concerns Please accept my sincere apologies for any misunderstanding, confusion or any inconvenience that you may have encountered as a result of your moveWe totally enjoyed you as a customer and it was a
pleasure handling your move The times that we met and spoke were courteous and professional and I am sincerely disappointed that you feel that we have let you down in any manner I work so very hard to provide all my loyal customers with as pleasant a moving experience as possible I have been serving the community for over years and take great pride in providing excellent customer service. To address your issue directly, please remember that an "estimate" is exactly what it implies It is our best assumption of the time and materials for a move based on both my personal observations of your inventory and by using a computer based software program that calculates your inventory weight and cubic feet Based on these factors we provide our customers with an estimate Please keep in mind that we work by the hour and we charge accordingly In this particular case your estimate was NOT a flat rate
Regarding the draperies At no time did we ever discuss taking down draperies and no where on your quote was this mentioned Again, I am truly sorry that there was any miscommunication or misunderstanding regarding this particular item However, we never planned on removing any drapes and if we did it would have been mentioned on the quoteAs far as the packing is concerned, again, I apologize for any misunderstanding When you and I personally spoke about packing, we discussed ONLY packing the kitchen The quote was based upon spending approximately three(3) hours packing the kitchen only It is not even a logical assumption that we could ever pack a large house in just three hoursWhen the move was complete and we presented our bill for the time we actually spent working, if you will recall it was you that made an offer to me to "split the difference" I gladly accepted your offer in my effort to show good faith and to maintain you as a happy and satisfied customerAt that point you paid your bill without any further discussionIt was only until now, after receiving this complaint that you are asking for additional monies be paid to you Please recall that at no time did we ever demand payment from you You very readily paid your bill after I agreed to YOUR offer to split the difference Again, I did that for you even though the bill I presented to you was for the time we actually spent working on your moveI am sorry for any misunderstanding or inconvenience that this has caused you and I sincerely hope that you may recall how hard we worked and my acceptance of your offer to split the difference Best regards,

Once again we thank the Revdex.com for affording us the opportunity to respond to the continual barrage of false, slanderous and liable complaints that are being put forth by this particular customer.
We totally reject this false and misleading statements being promulgated by this individual.
As we have respond to numerous times, we are no longer going to entertain this individuals false, slanderous, misleading and incomplete allegations.
We have already provided to this individual an apology if she felt that our service was not up to her standards.
We have already provided to this individual substantial financial considerations and we have no intention of giving her any further financial consideration even thought that is what she obviously ants.
This matter has been referred to our attorney for review and we have already forwarded an insurance claim form to this individual so that an independent and professional insurance company can review her allegations and make a determination.
There is nothing further that we can do for this individual.  It is blatantly obvious that nothing is going to satisfy this customer no matter how many times we have gone out of our way to discuss this with her in both person and on the phone.  No matter how many financial remunerations that we have already provided to her will ever be enough.
It is unfortunate that in our 25 years of serving our community we have never ever encountered a customer like this that persists in filing false allegations.
We will leave this matter in the hands of our attorney and the professional insurance company and we will no longer respond to these unfounded and continued barrage of false allegations.
Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity to respond to these inflammatory and liable allegations.

Review: 1) Site visit was made by Leni Roschko of Absolute Moving. Contract & quote was signed to move contents of a storage unit and 2 bedroom apartment. On moving day, the truck provided was too small. When we asked for a bigger truck or another truck to complete the move the same day or the next two days, the foreman said this was not an option.

2) MANY of our belongings were not moved nor wrapped as per contract e.g. our plasma TV, floor lamps, large round hanging dresser mirror, multiple boxes.

3) Treadmill was dismantled to move it into our basement, and when reconnected it no longer works.

4) Dresser and desk which both had 2 connecting parts were taken apart by movers, but not secured back together again at final destination. Hutch fell off desk when repositioning it after movers were gone almost causing an injury, and it broke beyond repair when it crashed to the ground.

5) Final price paid was more than estimate even though the move was not complete.

6) We had no other choice than to rent a 14 foot U-Haul ourselves the next day to complete the move ourselves at our cost.

7) Foreman of moving company suggested we tip each mover $100 rather than the $50 tip we gave each of the 4 man crew.

8) 5 days after our move, we called Absolute to complain. Leni said this was the first he knew of our problems.

9) Letter voicing our concerns and requesting $600 monetary reimbursement was e-mailed to Absolute Moving; they responded after 19 days stating that we rejected an offer to have them complete the move the next day and declined to provide us with any monetary reimbursement. We are 60 and 63 years old with a history of having had a total knee replacement and cervical neck fusion with a plate and 6 screws which is exactly why we hired Absolute Moving rather than move ourselves, and which is exactly why we would never have rejected their offer to complete the move the next day knowing our only alternative was to move ourselves as our apartment lease was over.Desired Settlement: Provide us with our requested refund of $600 which only covers our cost for the U-Haul truck and gas, bridge tolls between NJ and NY, and additional days of apartment rent. This amount will not cover replacing the hutch that fell and crashed, nor the repairs to the treadmill (hopefully it can be repaired and will not have to be replaced), and so we think we are being quite reasonable. We would also like the company to admit to their mistakes and not treat their future customers with the same disrespect.
