This company is inexperienced Whatever Adam tells you he will complete, he renegs He will fast talk you and make it sound like he knows what he is doing, but won't show up because he is way over his head on the knowledge of completing the job I was promised a start to finish job, but I ended up hiring another company to complete itHe said he was going to pull out before I fired him because he didn't have the skill to do it right

Review: In June 2013 [redacted], [redacted] of Absolute Paving and Concrete, replaced our patio with a stamped concrete patio. He issued a 2 year labor and material warranty for his work. He stated that we would have to have it sealed the following year and about every other year thereafter. We initially questioned the integrity of the work done as we noted many cracks in the patio when it was complete. [redacted] reassured us that these were just "surface cracks." By the spring of 2014, less than a year after the patio was poured, we noticed that the surface cracks were getting deeper and deeper and chunks of the patio were chipping off. We contacted [redacted] both about our concerns and about resealing it as he told us resealing it would correct the problem. After MANY phone calls he finally resealed the patio on 8/*/14. He had cancelled several times and would always have an excuse for each time he didn't show up. After he resealed it we immediately contacted him again. The sealer is completely white in spots and feels like you are walking on eggshells whenever anyone walks on it. He also sprayed the siding of our house in the process and completely destroyed the lower portion of our existing siding. We contacted him for a resolution because we were very upset with the entire patio. He came back in September 2014 to take a look at the patio. He agreed that the sealer should not look like that and stated that the patio is cracking because it was too hot the day that it was poured and it began to dry too soon. He and I agreed that he would reimburse us for half of the total cost of the patio and for the full amount of the sealer. The agreement was that he would provide us with a contract stating that he would pay us back a sum of $6,000, over time. ($1000 for the sealer and $5000 towards the patio). He stated that he could't provide us with the entire sum at one time. We were agreeable to this and told he that we would take no further steps legally is he provided us with a written contract for the reimbursement and that he could pay us back over time. He has been telling us since early October 2014 that the contract was mailed out priority mail stating "my word is my word." He has stopped returning our phone calls regarding this matter. We still have a valid warranty for his work, although we don't trust that he can replace the patio properly. This is why both parties agreed on reimbursement. He is not holding up his end of the contract.Desired Settlement: As [redacted] has promised we are asking for a $6000 refund for poor work. Our warranty is valid until June 2015. We want the refund ASAP.

Review: Absolute Paving and Concrete installed an approximate 900 SF poured, stamped concrete patio at our residence on July **, 2013. The final installed product is deficient and damaged. The finish had clumps of release powders of both the grey and red highlights which pitted the surface which will further deteriorate the surface causing tripping hazards. The use of expansion joints was not provided between the exterior foundation and the poured patio, also no expansion joints were provided every 20 feet. The are no expansion joints. Control joints are not provided every 5 feet. Control joints provided are 7 feet and 12 feet. The final surface has multiple splatter pits due to improper application of the release powder. The sealant applied has failed and is flaking in many locations. We met with the contractor at the job site to review the deficiencies and damage on Aug. **, 2013 with no resolution. Follow up complaint letter have been submitted (June *, 2014 & Sept. **, 2014) with no response from the contractor.Desired Settlement: We are requesting full refund of $9,500. Independent engineering review of the finished patio indicated that the proper corrective action would be complete replacement of the patio.
