Business responded to complaintThis consumer called for an estimate to replace a shower drain I went to his house and told him it would cost between $200-300, with the average being $depending on the actual install since I could not see beneath the floor until the actual work
was being performed A week went by and the consumer called me to schedule the work and again, asked me how much the job was going to cost Once again, I repeated $200-depending on the install The consumer ok’d the work The work was performed and as I proceeded to open the floor I realized the job was indeed more involved due to the degree of unseen obstructions such as floor joists I made the consumer aware of the degree of involvement and that it would be a $repair before the job was completed. Twice, the price range was given to the consumer and the final completion price was within that range I did what I said I would do and that is exactly why I DO get repeat business I will not be refunding any money because the consumer was told on two different occasions the price range and the final cost before completion of the job It is unfortunate that this platform for complaints can be used dishonestly.
