We would like to address the matter at hand. We made a custom countertop as requested to fit the customer’s overlip stove, which was on site at the time of template and installation. After installing the customer’s countertop our technicians put the stove in to make sure it fit as...

well. At this time the customer signed off on the installation and was very pleased with it. Measurements are custom to all homeowners’ appliances since all appliances differ in specifications. This is why we make a template and ask that all appliances be on site. We had to charge a service fee of $200 since this was not our mistake since the customer changed out the stove for a different model. We sent two technicians to adjust the opening to fit the new stove as soon as we could. This fee covered the cost of technicians, trip and labor. We went to the homeowners home to access this complaint. We tried to explain the issue to the customer and still the homeowner was unhappy with the service process.  The only way to resolve this issue was to refund our customer the service charge fee of $200.00, which we did. access to our Warehouses to see the slabs before making the purchase. All our Warehouses are listed on our Website as well. We acknowledge our clients on the website and in the contract that Natural Stones may differ in the color, grain, direction etc. Further we reached out several times to our client and offered a refund which she accepted. In addition, we must mention that we installed L brackets as a favor without any charges for the client because another company did not do it.  We took our clients concern serious and provided her with all the needed information to clear the misunderstanding and we hope to accomplished an agreement and a satisfied customer.  why here...

The complaint was twofold.     The first was the complaint regarding the width of the opening for the stove.  When cut incorrectly, I was still charged 200.00 for technicians to come out to repair.  This matter was resolved and the 200.00 was refunded.   The second aspect of the complaint has not been resolved.  The depth of the countertop on the right of the stove is not the same as the depth of the countertop on the left of the stove.  (see pictures in following email)  The technician stated that the depth is based on the depth of the overhang.  The depth of the overhang is different on the left than it is on the right.  I received a follow up phone call from the company who chose not to address this matter.  The countertop was templated incorrectly.   After measuring, there is another overhang that is more than 1/2 inch.  I am not complaining about any of the other part of the countertop only the one surrounding the stove because it is so obvious.
