Why is this company calling me? I am on a Do Not Call List The number they used (619) 295- was on my Caption Call phone...I did not answer and they left no message I do not want to get these kinds of calls

This company called my phone number and no voicemail appeared on my phone right awayI called back and at first I was on hold for a while then hung up onThen I called again and finally got an answer from a KimberlyI asked who it was, because I feel it is logical to want to know who I am talking to before I name myselfShe would not tell me and asked if I was JenniferMy husband and I have a friend named Jennifer who has used me for references with some apartments in the past and who knows what elseI assumed it was for her as that is the only Jennifer that would give my number for anythingI asked again who this was and what they wanted, as I wasn't going to give my name nor my friend's until I understood what was going onThe lady would not tell me what they wereShe then hung up on meAs I looked down at my phone, in disbelief that someone called me, I had the grace to call them back, then they were offended that I wanted to know who they were my iphone popped through with a few texts from other people and a voicemail from this same companySo I listen to the voicemail and realize that this is not for my friend but for my husbad's ex wifeWho although we are on decent coparenting terms would never want me knowing her personal business like thatI called Kimberly back for the third time that morning to let her know before she so rudely hung up on me that she was calling for my husband's ex wife and I highly doubt I am the one she wants in her system as a contactThe lady then accused me of being snoopy saying I should have just asked to have my number removedHow am I supposed to know when you will tell me NOTHING of who exactly you are wanting to talk to, who you are, or any inkling of what you are wanting to achieve and HOW you have my numberI advised the Jennifer they were trying to reach of what happened but also let her know they didn't seem like they would be overly helpful for her

The company has made an inquiry with the original creditor as to the paid status of the account, but has not received a responseHowever, due to the representation that the account was previously paid as set forth in the consumer's complaint, the account has been recalled from
collections and no further phone calls will be made by the agency servicing the account

We have reviewed Mr*** complaint Absolute Resolutions Corp(ARC) was not handling this accountAbsolute Collections Corp was the entity that contacted Mr*** on behalf of their client, Cashcall.
However, Absolute Collection Corporation’s policy is not to discuss account information with any consumer until the consumer confirms personal identification information such as the last four of the consumer’s social security number, date of birth or other type of information that confirms they are speaking to the correct person
However, ARC and Absolute Collections’ take the consumer experience seriously and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused Mr*** At this time, we have closed the account and will no longer contact Mr*** regarding this matter. THIS COMMUNICATION IS FROM A COMPANY THAT PERFORMS DEBT COLLECTIONSTHIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO COLLECT A DEBTANY INFORMATION OBTAINED WILL BE USED FOR THAT PURPOSE

After explaining to them that I have not had a debit with a *** *** credit card for years, having settled on it years ago They continue to call saying that I owe this debt They offer no proof that I owe the debt, this debt does not show up at all on my credit reports, and al of my records show that the debt is paid They call, I explain the situation, tell them to make note in their computers, and yet they call again saying that they have never called before that this is the first call they have made They are now harassing myself and my wife

I have no contract with Absolute Resolutions Investment LLC, but they are still listing an account on my credit report
