Absolute Safeguard Home Inspection Services

Review: This complaint is in regards to my multiple attempts of reaching out to the Safeguard Company. They missed a big termite infestation in my home. The termite situation is the main issue here, but trust me, there were others. They missed a leaking sliding glass deck door, a gas odor from the basement, and mold starting on an upstairs window from a leak. Had I known of these issues I wouldn't have purchased this home! $$$Over the last two weeks, I had made a handful of phone calls and emails to Safeguard and spoke with [redacted]. [redacted] said that he would return my calls and even forward my complaint over to his "higher ups" because there was "nothing he could do". I've had nothing but avoidance and lies from this gentleman. [redacted] requested pictures of the property damage and termites, which were freely given. I had requested many times that it would be beneficial for he, or an employee from Safeguard, to come and see the situation first hand. The infestation clearly was an issue that Safeguard overlooked and failed to be handled in a quick manner, let alone at all. Currently, I am not receiving a proper courteous response for an employee to inspect my property or for the company to handle an expensive issue that they missed. The only person that I had spoken with, [redacted], refused to give me any other contact information to pursue the issue further. His company and employees are the FURTHEST thing from a 4.4 star company. A prestigious, "customer focused" company, would have rectified the problem and apologized for a very large issue that was haphazardly missed. I am extremely upset with the situation and hope that nobody is silly enough to use them for ANY home inspection. If so, get ready for a laundry list of issues and lies!!Desired Settlement: I would like the company to come and do what any normal company should do when they are at fault. They should acknowledge the situation, be courteous/apologetic, come to my home and SEE what they missed, and PAY for all of the termite fees. They should also be held responsible for the leaking sliding glass door costs/issues. At this point we have to remove the door to inspect the inner aspect of the walls with an unknown endpoint of repairs!
