Absolute Service

Review: I had my car break down on me because of the weather which is something I understand completely. After I brought my car to Absolute Service [redacted] who is the owner of the business told me what the problem was and then without my approval went ahead and ordered the part from the dealer which of course makes it very expensive. After putting on the part I agreed to pay for it without any issues. After paying him $403.00 for parts and labor the part was $178.00 which I could've gotten it for $50.00 but again he went and order it without my permission. That morning after paying him the money when I tried to pick my car he tells me I need to spend another $116.00. I didn't have the funds because I just paid him $403.00, so after telling him that I asked him can I drive the car because the car is my only means for transportation my job is not on a bus route or anything like that he told me yes I can just watch the antifreeze which I did. Only 1 day after getting the car it broke down again, I called and he then told me that he told me the car couldn't drive which is not true he didn't tell me such a thing. So after me and my father spoke with him he sent his son to pickup my car which he did. So after waiting a week for my car he calls me and tells me that the car is finished, when I asked him how much he told me its $642.00 which is unbelievable. So after me getting upset I asked him to explained why is it that high and he told me because he charged me for towing the car. I told him that when we spoke I asked are you going to charge me and he told no he wasn't going to charge me for the tow but since he got into an argument with my father he got upset and charged me for the tow which I believe is very wrong. This is unbelievable and if he feels this is how he should do business he is wrong. You cant go ahead and order expensive parts in peoples care without telling them how much or what the car needs and then you tow people cars and when they ask you about charging you say no but get upset when someone else who doesn't own the car yell at you and take it out on the owner. He is unprofessional he doesn't communicate with his customers you have to call him a number of times to finally get in contact with him so you can get an answer from him. He sits in his shop and charge for 2-3 hours labor for a job that takes less than and hour.Desired Settlement: I would just like to be refunded for the tow fee that's all. I feel after telling me that I can drive my car for a couple of weeks and then it doesn't even last one day he needs to be responsible for the tow since its been less than 24 hours since I had the car from your care.
