[redacted] Please See Attached Documents [redacted] Re: Complaint ID # [redacted] DrMrs [redacted] ,Thank you for storing with usUpon move-in, Absolute Storage employees go over each part of our contract, including the move out procedure, with every customerAfter we explain the contract, our customers sign the contractIn addition, each customer is given a move in folder containing rules and regulations, alarm system information, and the move out procedureEach page within that folder is explainedThe pro-rate period that we explained upon move-in, and is #on the rental contract is as follows:#RENT REFUNDS: No rent or fee refund will be granted during the first rental period or after the tenth (10th) day of any subsequent rental period. From the mofolder:o After your first month, If you complete the move-out process within the first 10days of the rental period, your rent charges will be pro-ratedIf you move out after the day pro-rated period, you will need to pay for the entire rental period.(Documentation included)As per your statement, You rented the unit on the 1st, and you paid for days after your move out date of the 16thThe 16th is days past the day grace period, so as the contract states, and as we explained upon move in and gave you a copy of the move-out procedure, we are not able to refund past the day grace periodOur software will not allow it.Additionally, the unit that you moved out of on October 16th was a 10x30, not a 10x20, and is still unoccupied at the present date, and has not been rented outThis might be why you were confused about "double renting" your unitAt that time, we had a tenant schedule a move out for a 10x(not your 10x30)Our software will not allow us to "double rent" a unit, (documentation that unit # [redacted] is still vacant included)Thank you,Absolute Storage Management Team

I have a storage unit that I was told I have until the end of day of being delinquent before the unit went up for lienWhen I called to make a payment the day of day I was rudely informed that my unit has already been put into lien and that if I had wanted to make the payment it had to be yesterday for the partial payment or today in fullThis is now the second time I have been informed by the manager that she has explained things with crystal clear accuracy and the second time it has been falseThe manager is rude to her customers and is inaccurate in her education of customers

the contract. In addition, each customer is given a move in folder containing rules and regulations, alarm system information, and the move out procedure. Each page within that folder is explained. The pro-rate period that we explained upon move-in, and is #4 on the rental contract is as follows:#4 RENT REFUNDS: No rent or fee refund will be granted during the first rental period or after the tenth (10th) day of any subsequent rental period. From the move-in folder:o After your first month, If you complete the move-out process within the first 10days of the rental period, your rent charges will be pro-rated. If you move out after the 10 day pro-rated period, you will need to pay for the entire rental period.(Documentation included)As per your statement, You rented the unit on the 1st, and you paid for 15 days after your move out date of the 16th. The 16th is 5 days past the 10 day grace period, so as the contract states, and as we explained upon move in and gave you a copy of the move-out procedure, we are not able to refund past the 10 day grace period. Our software will not allow it.Additionally, the unit that you moved out of on October 16th was a 10x30, not a 10x20, and is still unoccupied at the present date, and has not been rented out. This might be why you were confused about "double renting" your unit. At that time, we had a tenant schedule a move out for a 10x20 (not your 10x30).
