On March 11, 2015 about 8:20pm or so we received a call at Absolute Towing from Iglesia Cristiana Nueva Vida church, who's address is [redacted].  They stated that there was a car that has been parked in there parking lot by the entrance all day and they needed it moved...

ASAP because they were letting out for Wednesday night church and it was causing a problem.  They told us they had no idea who the car belonged to they wanted it gone and off the property.  When we showed up at the church there was a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the parking lot with cones around it.  The doors were unlocked and the driver side window was rolled down.  The car was towed to our Killeen lot at 8:50pm.  Once at the lot it was inventoried.  There was nothing of value to be listed in the vehicle.  A notice was sent out to the registered owner and lien holder on March 16, 2015.  Ms. Diamond Youngblood signed for the letter on March 19, 2015.  She did not  come to pick up the vehicle until March 27, 2015.  At that time she paid for her Jetta and also paid to have it towed to her house because she didn't have the keys to the vehicle and she claimed it was out of gas.  The next time we heard anything about the vehicle was the weekend of April 4, 2015.  At that point and time the dispatcher, Ms. [redacted], was told that the car had been broken in to and that there was a gold watch missing, the back seat looked like it had been tampered with, and that there was a special tool left in the car.  They also stated that the car would not start or drive right.  Because it was the weekend there was no way to look anything up.  Ms. [redacted] advised them to call back on Monday and we would look in to the situation and if they have a receipt for the watch to bring it in.  They told Ms. [redacted] when they picked up the vehicle.  Ms. [redacted] said okay we can look at security videos and see what we can find.  On Monday we spoke  to the driver who picked up the vehicle and noticed the date was March 11, 2015.  Our security videos only go back 2 weeks.  When we reviewed the last 8 days of the videos no one was in that vehicle.  The issue was addressed with the Owner of the Company, Mr. [redacted], who decided that since the vehicle was left unsecured in a parking lot for a day there was no telling when the things they claim were missing were taken.  This decision was also based on the location where the vehicle was left as it is not a very safe one.  The issue we had it that once they had the vehicle it took them a week to call about the Jetta being broken in to.  We don't know when it happened, it could have happened park at the church or the week between March 27th and April 4th.  What we do know is that for the last 8 days it was here no one broke in to it.   Attached are our records of the tow, the day the notification was sent out, the day Ms Youngblood signed for the notification, and the receipt from the day the vehicle was paid for.   If there are any other questions or concerns please give us a call at ###-###-#### ask for [redacted]   Thank You Absolute Towing
