Absolute Vinyl, Inc. Reviews (2)

I spent almost 3 months investigating fencing products and installation, for a property located in Bozeman.

My main concerns were durability and realistic future cost of maintaining a fencing for the property.

I had noticed that the cedar fences look amazingly beautiful, when they are new. But it became more obvious as time went on, that the cedar fences are not durable and require extensive maintenance within a year.

I was unable to locate a local fencing contractor who specialized in vinyl fencing. Though hesitant, I contacted Absolute Vinyl which serves property owners in Montana and even surrounding states. The salesperson was patient and helpful during the process to choose fencing, and respected our budget and goal. There was no "hard sell." We spent approximately 15% more than bids for cedar fencing.

These folks came in, did what they said they would do (put in fence posts), and were back early to install the posts/panels which only took a few hours. The transformation of our property was amazing. The visual improvement is so positive.

No other fencing contractor warranted their fences beyond one year. Absolute Vinyl warrants their fence product and installation for years!

When obtaining bids from other contractors, I stated I wanted the fence level as the property is slightly sloping. Every other contractor balked at that request. Not Absolute Vinyl. "No problem" was their answer. They dug deeper holes and installed longer posts. It looks amazing!

The fence was installed several months ago, and has already ridden out several strong wind storms (one which measured at 60 mph). Best of all, I truly believe I have the best looking fence in town and pretty much, zero maintanence.

I do not know the owner's or any employee's personally. This is a sincere and honest assessment of their product, knowledge and skill. If you're looking for honesty and integrity in a fencing company, give these folks a call.

Review: While installing the fence, workers wrecked neighbors fence. I was told they would contact neighbor and repair. They have not done so. They also opened my garage and took a cord to plug in a drill. They then left the door open while cutting cement in front of the door. The over head heater was on in the garage. The dust from the cement cutter filtered into the garage, picked up by the over head heater and covered everything in the garage with a layer of cement dust. In this garage is two Goldwing motorcycles that were not covered and a 1958 ford street rod with flame paint. This car was covered with the dust also. My heater fan is now squealing when it turns on because of dust in the motor windings. All of these vehicles were just detailed by hand with fresh wax. Now the cement dust is in the wax. The installers also hit the main water shut off valve to my house. I called the company and was told the owner would contact. It has been a week and no one has contacted me.Desired Settlement: Make needed repairs to neighbors fence, shut off valve, car, motorcycles, heater, and cleaning of garage.

To whom it concerns,

This letter is in regards to complaint #9509765 (9152238).

Mr. [redacted] purchased a $17,000 fence from Absolute Vinyl. We collect a payment of 1/2 down with a signed contract to secure a customers spot on our installation schedule. The final payment is collected upon completion and satisfaction by the customer. The customer has paid his final therefore this matter has been rectified.

In regards to Mr. [redacted]’s specific complaints; WE did not wreck the neighbors fence, yes the guys dented a portion of top rail in the chain link fence and immediately went to the neighbors to notify them and ready to change it out but they explained, 'not to worry, we are going to tear it out once the vinyl is complete.” Our customer and his neighbors got into such an altercation about the new vinyl fence that the police came to the sight while our installers were working. Mr. [redacted] felt those neighbors should split the cost of the fence on the shared property line. They did not want to, they were content with the chain link but since they just got a new vinyl fence they removed the chain link fence that was there. The police determined this was a civil matter and tried to patch things up between the neighbors and the left. Our installers were quite embarrassed

as Mr. [redacted] put them in such an awkward position by screaming at his neighbors with such profanity and being questioned by the police.

Secondly; yes we used the outlet in his garage upon our return to finish the set (it is a big job and needed several days to complete). Mr. [redacted] gave our installers permission to use the outlet in the garage the previous day because there are no outside outlets. No, they didn’t have direct permission the second time as the did the first. The garage door was closed except for a crack for the extension cord. Yes, I am sure some dust entered the garage but not to the extent that he claims especially when there is a table saw and wood tools with inches of saw dust in the opposite comer of the cracked door, To rectify the rdustr issue we rented two air mover fans together with an air compressor and a wand and we blew his entire garage out.

Thirdly, the customer tells us where to install their fence. Mr. [redacted] instructed us to put his return line next to the water valve. We hand dug this hole right next to this pipe and his house as instructed. If damage occurred just like any damage that may happen to a utility line or sprinkler line is the responsibility of the customer- again we work for the customer and even though we are responsible to call in utility locates we still do not have x-ray vision to determine where those lines are. No damage came to the pipe but yes they dug next to it.

We have been in business for over 11 years and to my knowledge have not had had any Revdex.com complaints, our policy is to make sure the customer is satisfied and will recommend us to all of their friends.

Respectfully,

[redacted] owner of Absolute Vinyl Inc
