Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find [redacted] comments mostly satisfactory to me. I would propose, however, that the business put a process in place to better communicate what will and what will not be done within the scope of work.  This will ensure that other customers understand what they are not getting with this service.  This includes correcting the company's website, which indicates that restoration will be done, which is the reason I chose this company in the first place.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [email protected].

The customer contacted us on 9/11/15, we went to the house on 9/12/15. We found a new plumbing leak in a different area from where we did our abatement. Upon further investigation, we found that the new owner received $5000 credit from our customer to replace the plumbing system since they were...

aware of the leak prior to closing. This leak occurred in the manifold of a Quest home run system. This area is not part of the abatement we did. We explained the situation thoroughly to the new owners. They did not tell us that they knew about the leak ahead of time or that they had gotten a $5000 credit to fix it. We washed and sprayed all of the visible mold after we explained that it was not part of our warranty. We told them they needed to call their agent and the seller. This leak was not occurring at the time of our abatement and is separate from the abated area. Our warranty covers the areas that we worked on previously. We have explained this to the customer and the customer's daughter 4 times. This is an unfair complaint.

We completed the abatement for this project in a timely manner. All work was done according to the approved estimate. The customer was expecting restoration of the drywall as part of the project, so he was surprised when...

there was drywall to replace at the end. We pointed him toward the estimate that he approved to see that "restoration not included" was printed on the estimate as well as the reference for drywall to be removed,

The customer contacted us by phone and email 1 day after filing the complaint. We contacted him immediately to find a resolution. It appears that this customer is a very busy person and simply overlooked the details on the estimate.

This is our first Revdex.com complaint in over 2500 projects. In the future we will try hard to be sure that the customer has read the estimate before the project.
Thank you

Review: The company issued a 3 year warranty after treating mold infestation in the house back in May 2015. The area has obviously been sprayed and painted when they treated the mold last time. Mold came back and the owner is not honoring the warranty despite the warranty stated "We will retreat any mold infestation on this house for a period of three years from the date of this certificate". The company/owner would not respond to email nor return phone call afterwards.Desired Settlement: The company should honor the warranty, come out and retreat the mold infestations to our satisfaction as soon as possible because the mold is affecting the health of the residents.

The $5000 credit was given to us because we were aware that those polybutylene pipes are prone to leakage and we would like to have them replace in the future. We had home inspector inspected the house before closing and he did NOT report a leak at the pipe. The mold infestation was so bad that even the owner of Absolutely clean mold abatement said that would have been there for over 2 months which was before we close the transaction. You can ask the previous seller and the home inspector as witness. Futhurmore, the warranty stated that "We will retreat any mold infestation....." there was nothing on the warranty indicating any other conditions other than we have to notify the company within 7 days of finding out the mold and that they won't treat other company's work. The system and the closet area were clearly been sprayed/painted/treated before. Therefore the mold company should honor their warranty and come retreat the area promptly. If this cannot be resolved, we will seek legal action.

Review: Company was hired to remove mold from master bathroom and closet around window. All they did was cut out and remove drywall above shower area, leaving a large 3 foot by 2 foot hole in ceiling leading up to the attic. They did not replace the drywall, nor did they treat the window areas they were hired to treat. When asked about the drywall replacement, the worker's comment was simply that they don't do the drywall repair. I expected a completed job so that all I would have to do is repaint the area after the moldy areas were treated, per conversation with[redacted].Desired Settlement: Absolutely Clean should:

1. Replace all the drywall above the shower.

2. Clean the mold around the windows.

3. Issue an apology to homeowner and tenant.

4. Consider refunding service.
