We have experienced discoloration and non-uniformity with broom finishes in our own shop We did send these photos to the *** as well Again, per the publications I sited before, we cannot control this from happening We take pride in the work we do, and we finished this concrete in a professional manner We also mentioned the *** product Revive in conversations and the e-mail I sited before(I included the sentence again below) "*** does sell a product called 'revive' that can be placed on the concrete to cover the discoloration and seal the finish. What the [redacted] fail to mention is that out of the 1,331 sq. feet of concrete that was poured, 136 sq. feet of walkway is having an issue with discoloration. 
 
We did e-mail the [redacted] in regards to this discoloration issue in April of 2015.

I am passing on some literature in regards to concrete discoloration.
There are many factors that can contribute to the discoloration of concrete.
These trends are difficult to disguise in certain finishes, such as broom and exposed. 
 
We have experienced discoloration issues with these finishes here in our own concrete show place.  I have attached pictures for you to view.
 
We have also had lengthy conversations with sales reps at local concrete companies, such as Stoneway, in reference to this phenomenon.  I have attached an e-mail which I found quite educational. 
 
[redacted] mentions a CIP in his e-mail, and I have forwarded this on to you as well.  
 
[redacted] does sell a product called 'revive' that can be placed on the concrete to cover the discoloration and seal the finish.  Here is the link to this product.

We are disappointed that they felt the need to go this route.
