Revdex.com:I do not agree with their statement saying I did not attempt to contact them before contacting the Revdex.com (I have numerous e-mails that I can supply, including their replies, and some e-mails sent to customer service that went unanswered)I don't want it on the record that I am simply this "bad guy" who wants it my wayThey ignored e-mails and changed the stated rules about accessbility after distributing ticketsAll fire safety, regulations, plans, etc, should be set before ticket distributionI know, as I used to produce eventsTheir lack of empathy in this situation is still unnervingAlso, I did not complain to the book managerThe book manager contacted me after I contacted the Revdex.com, after I did not receive replies to my attempts at contacting the Coop though e-mailContacting the Revdex.com is a last resort, and I obviously needed to do that to receive a prompt reply from the CoopThe book manager was understanding, nice and professionalHe was timely in responses, and was easy to work withHe made a bad situation much betterI think he would agree that I am far from an unruly customer.I do find it ironic that the Coop is happy to quote the rules of the event page when it came to pointing out how nice they were to sell me the book (it did say I must be at the event - and I appreciate they sold me the book, which I think was very much the right thing to do given the circumstances)If we want to go by the rules of that page, then strollers should have been allowed, as they weren't prohibited on that pageRules change, though, right? I just think the Coop needs to reflect on this situation, and not chalk it up to some angry customer who wanted a book and laugh it offThis goes beyond the bookRules should be set BEFORE the event, employees shouldn't make statements judging what is best for a customer's children, and a store should not write things about a customer that weren't true (that I didn't contact them before writing to the Revdex.com! C'mon folks! E-mails, in most cases, are permanent!).In the end, I received my book at the agreed to price, and while I didn't get to meet Mr [redacted] , I consider the matter closedHowever, I will never be a customer of the Coop again, nor can I ever reccomend their store to any family or friends Regards, [redacted] ***
