Absolutely Pure Reviews (1)

Unprofessional, deceptive and disrespectful practices from business. Refusal to abide by warranties and agreement. Failure to perform work.Purchased water softener system in September 2012. December 2013 the water softener malfunctioned. Tried to contact business for emergency and all numbers provided were inoperable and/or calls were not being returned. Contacted another company who immediately came out to inspect and determined the two heads on the system were broke however reported they should be under warranty. I again contacted Absolutely Pure, after a month of already contacting them, and happened to finally reach [redacted]. [redacted] said that their office phones had been down but could not explain why it took over a month for a return call. He told me the heads were under warranty and to cancel the service with the new company, which I did. [redacted] then told me to call the office and to leave him a message and he would call me back since he was on a service call. I immediately called and was unable to leave a message. I called [redacted] again on his cell phone, he forwarded me to voicemail. I left a message. For weeks [redacted] and I went back and forth over text message and calls through cell phones only as the business phone continued to not work. All this time I had to threatened to contact Revdex.com and file legal action against his company. It was only at that point that [redacted] scheduled an appointment, which he then canceled, approximately 20 minutes after the appointment was scheduled. The next appointment he was over 30 minutes late too, knowing I had a meeting with a client. [redacted], removed the heads and told me again that everything would be covered under warranty. He did state that I should not say whether they had froze as that may impact the manufacturer warranty. I told him I didn't know what happened to them and that I just needed it fixed (this had already been a two month process). Almost two more months go by before I actually hear that the heads are in and that they will install, for a fee, plus an additional fee for the yearly service. Given my dissatisfaction thus far, I said I would not pay for the fees, that I should be compensated for the troubles thus far, including the fact that I had been without the system for over four months (all of which I was pregnant for). [redacted] told me during that call that they would go ahead and schedule them to come out and in the meantime would talk to the two owners, one of whom I learned was [redacted], and if there was an issue with the fee, they would call me. At this point I was lead to believe the new heads were in. My appointment is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. At 8:44 p.m. tonight I receive a message from [redacted] that they are confirming my appointment but if I don't call back before 9:00 p.m. no one would be here in the morning. I called back at 8:54 p.m. and told [redacted] that I would not pay the fee for the installation of the heads but I would pay for the yearly service and that if the work was not performed and my merchandise returned as agreed upon then I would file this complaint as well as any legal action available to me. [redacted] said he would speak to [redacted] and call me back. When [redacted] called me back I was told [redacted] would return the heads, a statement from the manufacturer and the warranty information with the boxes. When asked if these were the new heads, I was told no, that the manufacture refused to provide since it wasn't a manufacture defect. This was the first I was told of the same and again was lead to believe up until this point my system would be fixed tomorrow, and therefore they had new heads in their possession. When asked why the new heads, which would have been secured under my warranty were not being provided, I was not given a response. I was simply told that they would only return the inoperable heads. I was then told he had no further information and while trying to address the issue, continued to be cut off. No mention of the absolute pure 10 year warranty they claimed was included at purchase which should have covered all of this.Desired SettlementThe heads to be replaced and installation of the same free of charge as well as all paperwork relating to my system from Absolutely Pure. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, unethical and untimely business in my life.
