Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The contractor at Abstract Roofing never mentioned that he had purchased materials on my behalf that could not be returned His statement of the conversation is inaccurate as he was very unprofessional and irate, hanging up on me as he made the statement about seeing me in court If he was already out costs on my behalf, why didn't he present these receipts for $to me immediately? This would have made his case far more concrete if I took him up on his statement "see you in court." Even if Abstract were to present receipts now to me for the aformentioned $510, it would be difficult to prove that they were based upon this particular job so many weeks after the scheduled date As the contract states, the repair was to replace shingles in a small area of the roof as well as apply a waterproofing agent It's highly doubtful that the materials could have cost this much and even so, could not have been returned I'm requesting a full refund of the $ In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

I spoke with ** *** via phone early Saturday morning February **, and informed him that my crew and I were unable to be at his residence that day because of an emergency roof collapse**

My company has spent approximately $on material to repair ** ***'s roof which cannot be returned

Review: I prepaid this [redacted] of this company $760 to do some roof repair work on February **. [redacted] stated that he would do the job the following Saturday, February ** as I am currently working out of town during the week and need to be home when he does the work. I cannot have a contractor who has never worked for me before do a job unsupervised. On Saturday, [redacted] never showed up. I called him and he said he would come on Monday, but I already had told him I could not be home during the week. I stated that I wanted a refund and he abruptly said "See you in court!" nd hung up on me. I called back several times and left messages and he never called me back. After the way he handled this, I could never trust him to work on my home.Desired Settlement: [redacted] needs to refund my money. I have already moved on with other contractors to fix the problem I had. After the way he handled this, I could never trust him to work on my home. I advise that no one use this company.

Review: [redacted]I hired [redacted] from Abstract Roofing and Construction Company on November **, 2014. [redacted] came to redo half of my roof - he stripped it down completely - we had him and his company replace the boards, put down ice and water shield and reroof my entire half of roof. In the paperwork, he stated this roof came with a lifetime guarantee. Now in Feburary with the first snow my roof is leaking into my house, destroying two rooms so far. Water is coming down at a very fast rate (sheetrock, paint, carpet, curtains, molding, and wainscoting all being destroyed). Now, I have tried calling [redacted] on his number listed on his card: ###-###-#### and was able to leave 3 messages, until today when I called and the number had been disconnected. I also tried emails since the beginning of the issue (sent him 3 emails and received no response. It also appears the companys' website has been taken down. Now I spent between $8,000 and $9,000 to replace this roof and now I have a badly leaking roof and two completely destroyed rooms.side note -I have lots of pictures proving the leaking and destroyed rrooms.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my roof PLUS money to fix what the leaks caused in my house - including all the sheetrock, insulation, paint, carpet, molding/wainscoting, windows, blinds, etc. I want my house restored and my roof refunded. I do not want them to repair the roof since they obviously did not fix the issue in the first place. I am VERY unhappy with their work and lack of responses.
