This is just more "he-said, she-said" We did several walks with her and each time she pointed out issues she wanted us to resolve before she would make the final payment The customer had her final walk and paid in full There has not been ANY communication since The customer is stating that we convinced her to use the Klingstone product because they were going to put a garage there in the future - then why is she wanting it removed now The $for reusing her bricks entailed lifting, installing additional base, compacting and relaying That is the charge We purchased the materials as I proved; we receive invoices AFTER the product is shipped so her questioning the date is moot We absolutely want the customer to be satisfied The fact that we went from being paid in full (on July 8) and then had no further contact regarding her dissatisfaction, to a complaint with the Revdex.com upsets us tremendously County Wide is willing to resolve this We will agree to [redacted] request to cut out the puddled areas and replace the rock and recoat areas that are not covered

Attached is an email string documenting our communications with Ms [redacted] She was advised that the reason she is having recurring issues with her pavers is due to lack of maintenance When the repair is done to the shifting bricks, poly sand must be installed – she was advised to do this and she did not Sand is not a warranty item Sand is a regular maintenance requirement (copy of [redacted] Maintenance Guide is attached) As an example - if you don’t change the oil/keep oil in your car and the engine fails, the dealer will not honor any warranty This is the same thing If regular maintenance is not done, the warranty does not apply If maintenance isn’t done, the pavers will shift/sink We did make the repairs in the past even though she has not maintained her pavers We also went out AGAIN a week ago (prior to our knowing about this claim) and made the repair AND installed the sand – which is not a warranty item – only in the area in the picture The entire paved area is in need of maintenance; no maintenance has been done to any of the pavers as required The pavers are in need of power washing and resanding and will continue shift as more sand deteriorates Therefore, it is our opinion that she has voided any remaining warranty she may have due to lack of maintenance Ms [redacted] ’s claim is completely unfounded and since we did make the repair as was requested in her desired settlement, we feel this claim should be closed as unfounded and resolved Regards, Rhonda [redacted] / Office [email protected] Wide Landscaping Office: (630) 365-Fax: (630) 405-42WBeith RdElburn, IL http://www.countywidelandscaping.com

Complaint: 11564717I am rejecting this response because:
Their claim regarding my lack of maintaining my pavers is unfounded. It is now just a matter of this landscaping company trying to save face after a claim was filed against them. The problem wasn't about me not maintaining my pavers but in their continuous poor workmanship. The rest of my pavers are in excellent condition. They lied to me concerning my warranty and are lying about the condition of my pavers. They blindly wrote a response with absolutely no knowledge of any maintenance I've done with my pavers. I guess it is easier to blame the customer than to take responsibility for not doing a job properly. They also never contacted me regarding the problem until the claim was filed. I was informed by their own workers that they had previously used the wrong materials to fix the pavers. At least there is honesty in the group that came out to fix the pavers this last time in comparison to the lies and claims that come from the office manager and owner. Their poor treatment of customers after the work is done and money is collected is well known in my subdivision. I will never recommend this company to anyone and will speak honestly regarding their poor customer service and workmanship. Sincerely,Rosalind ***

County Wide takes every measure possible to satisfy our customersWe are completely taken aback by this complaint for two reasons: 1) County Wide did a walk through with the
customer at the time of completion and we were paid in full2) The customer has not contacted us once since the final walk/payment to let us know that she was unhappy with the work
The total project contract that was signed was $65,(copy attached)
When the contract with *** *** was signed, she was looking for a less expensive alternative for her drivewayTo do the area in question with brick, the cost would have been $12,The charge for using the Klingstone was actually $2400.00, not $The $line item included reusing her bricks and resetting them in another area - that cost was $
We initially ordered (7) 5-gallon buckets for this projectWe contacted Kingstone regarding the pump system and how to apply the product and they were the ones who recommended using the buckets with holes in themOnce the buckets of product were used, we informed the customer that we completely underestimated the amount of product and needed to order additional productWe asked the customer if she was willing to pay for just the material and we were told NOWe ordered the additional product at our expense
We purchased a total of (17) five-gallon buckets, not (see attached invoices)The total cost of the product alone (not including labor) was $The cost to the customer was only $- County Wide absorbed the additional expense for the material and the labor
Our opinion is that the customer is now having buyer's remorse saying that she doesn't like the look months after the project was doneThe customer was completely satisfied at the time of the walk through, paid the balance owed without hesitation and has not made any attempts to contact us regarding this or any other issue since the project was finished
The customer was given two options for the driveway and chose the less expensive optionThe fact that she now just doesn't like the way it looks is not a County Wide issueThe product was applied as recommended by the manufacturer and although the charge to the customer was much less than the cost to County Wide, we finished the project as contracted, were paid in full and never contacted again
If the customer wants to have the product removed and replaced by another company, she should have to do so at her own expense

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me We thank County Wide for seeing that there is and always had been an issue with the parking pad and for being willing to repair it We are not the kind of people that would hold payment because something went wrong so of course we paid for the project in full We are the kind of people that expect as close to perfection as possible for what was promised to us Thank you for understanding where we are coming from and for finishing the project properly.
Sincerely,

This is just more "he-said, she-said". We did several walks with her and each time she pointed out issues she wanted us to resolve before she would make the final payment. The customer had her final walk and paid in full. There has not been ANY communication since. The customer is stating that we convinced her to use the Klingstone product because they were going to put a garage there in the future - then why is she wanting it removed now. The $for reusing her bricks entailed lifting, installing additional base, compacting and relaying. That is the charge. We purchased the materials as I proved; we receive invoices AFTER the product is shipped so her questioning the date is moot. We absolutely want the customer to be satisfied. The fact that we went from being paid in full (on July 8) and then had no further contact regarding her dissatisfaction, to a complaint with the Revdex.com upsets us tremendously. County Wide is willing to resolve this We will agree to *** *** request to cut out the puddled areas and replace the rock and recoat areas that are not covered

Attached is an email string documenting our communications with Ms. [redacted].  She was advised that the reason she is having recurring issues with her pavers is due to lack of maintenance.  When the repair is done to the shifting bricks, poly sand must be installed – she was advised to...

do this and she did not.  Sand is not a warranty item.  Sand is a regular maintenance requirement (copy of [redacted] Maintenance Guide is attached).  As an example - if you don’t change the oil/keep oil in your car and the engine fails, the dealer will not honor any warranty.  This is the same thing.  If regular maintenance is not done, the warranty does not apply.  If maintenance isn’t done, the pavers will shift/sink.  We did make the repairs in the past even though she has not maintained her pavers.  We also went out AGAIN a week ago (prior to our knowing about this claim) and made the repair AND installed the sand – which is not a warranty item  – only in the area in the picture.  The entire paved area is in need of maintenance; no maintenance has been done to any of the pavers as required.  The pavers are in need of power washing and resanding and will continue shift as more sand deteriorates.  Therefore, it is our opinion that she has voided any remaining warranty she may have due to lack of maintenance.  Ms. [redacted]’s claim is completely unfounded and since we did make the repair as was requested in her desired settlement, we feel this claim should be closed as unfounded and resolved.  Regards, Rhonda [redacted] / Office [email protected] Wide Landscaping Office: (630) 365-3412 Fax: (630) 405-1749 42W891 Beith Rd.
